Should the reporter and his translator not have made clear that they were here only as journalists and not as some kind of savior? You're kidding me, right? They were there over 5 days, and I assume had informed the village beforehand that they were coming, and lapped up all the attention, and enjoyed being treated like Gods. From what I heard Laos did not keep them in a group in specific places but separate them all over to farther cities areas so UN can not go track them. Laos said to UN correspondences that most people go stay with their relative but no one really know their fate and condition. Laos is like a lonely lake surrounded by all sides. it's calm on the surface but underneath it all is full of turmoil. what u see is what u get. unfortunately, there's people like the LPD who denied any of this ever exist. much like the those who denied about the holocaust.

why would someone say laos is at peace, and there's no war? have u ever been to Laos? I've been there. obviously, those who said that have not visit laos. they haven't had the slightest clue what they're talking about. sure, the LPDR say that but everyone know it's just a front. they only allow tourist in certain area in Laos. what does that tell ya? and here u are...still acting like laos is peace in quiet.

How can the hmong ever be trusted by any government in Asia if they are dogs of the a foreign power. It was the hmong that betray Laos, Laos never betray the hmong, as far as the hmong is concern, they should be grateful that Laos gave them a home, they can't return to China and should not have betray Laos in the first place. Laos never betray the hmong, the hmong betray Laos...that the TRUTH.
