Nothing to do with "Chicken factories" in Manchester, funny idea though especially if you've ever been to the city.

Chicken town is just about a smalltime mentality that some people have in any city.

The video definately goes from Oxford road in Manchester out towards Old Trafford, you can see the water of the docks near the end and Salford in the distance.

This is Oxford Road station, I know because I caught a train home from there after school for seven years. It's a diesel train leaving platform 3, either to Urmston or Chester. From the viaduct you can see the building that later became the Hacienda, now knocked down. Malazan is right, Chickentown is your chickentown, wherever that is. I've been to Rhode Island, and it's really like that; its also like Leeds or Newark, NJ, or Glasgow or any of the millions of chickentowns.

Not in my opinion because at 55 seconds you notice the Hacienda nightclub - which is intersection between whitworth street west and oxford st/rd, since the train has travelled westbound for 55 secs and oxford road station is further west than the hacienda, this makes it more likely to be Piccadilly station ( outside platforms ). You will also notice 4 at the beginning this probably indicates further proof of piccadilly outside platforms. Hope this helps :D
