The budget on a cel animation like this is massive. It requires a team of production artists and tons of labor. Spumco's Flash animations are not this same level of quality, but only because they're produced at a fraction of the cost. If Spumco scanned water color backgrounds and drew more in-between keyframes, their Flash animations could look every bit as good as cel. Even so, they make amazing stuff on a low budget. Ignore the low frame rate, look at the artwork!

@KorparnasTid good point...it really doesn't make sense to me why no-one buys his stuff. Also, is just me or does cel animation look more alive when compared to animation when it's coloured digitally. I feel like digital ink and paint makes the image look flat and dead.

Interesting tht Mel Blanc should be brought up here, of coruse,since the charactersa who mae him famous liek Bugs were exploited in a commercial for the VERY SAME product thast;s being HAWKED here..

I prefer John K.anyday. the Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies by the time Nike got them in their ads had become smug one dimensional types.Just IMO, of course.
