  • @KartuneKing 2:45 Popeye toy made a cameo appearance.

  • This is such a nostalgia trip for me. Oh the wonderful memories :)

  • I am looking for something in this style. It was about toys that came to life and turned an ugly christmas tree into this pretty shiney one, with glittering decoration, very very pretty. Does anyone remember this? Please help!

  • @helenevienna was the santa all red and there was a evil jack in the box? i thin i might can help

  • @undercoveremo008 I found it, it's called 'The night before Christmas'. But thanks!

  • This just made my whole life. I missed this so much!

  • does anyone remember a very old tv short that aired during sesame street.... it was a creepy old black and white short that was an old toy factory or something and all the old toys were moving.... and it took u for a tour kinda. Each place it went the toys were moving and creepy lookin and there was some weird music that played with it. there was a toy male wooden doll with a long nose kinda reminded me of Tito from Shining Time Station but scarier. I can only remember that so far. Help? :)

  • @GretchenWitter i know what your talking about, and i remember shining time station.... but it was so long ago i dont remember, only very fuzzy very short clips

  • Did you get this cartoon from the 180 cartoon dvd? cause if you did, Thanks so much 'cause the one i have on dvd got messed up real bad.

  • The cool thing about these cartoons is that they first aired in theaters, and the audience was supposed to sing along during the lyrical part. Really neat way of getting a bunch of strangers to work together. :D

  • I remember this cartoon! I have this on my videotape released via UAV Corporation at my mom's apartment!

  • Aww, I just love the "Oh, you Beautiful Doll" sequence at 3:45-6:30. I know it sounds crazy, but I fell deeply in love with someone named Clare and sometimes I would sing this song to myself with the word "doll" replaced with her name <3 aww lol

  • Did you notice the red Koko the Clown toy? Famous Studios was previously the Max Fleischer Studios after it was taken over by Paramount after the "Mr Bug goes to Town" fiasco.

  • i did't grow with this but i sure love it!!!!

  • I grew up watching this.

The memories, the nostalgia! All so wonderful. Thank you for uploading.

  • The town crier is simalar to a Looney Tunes cartoon (Have you got any castles?)

  • I used to love watching these... still do. I really loved the rudolph 1949 version. I grew up with so many of these.... screen songs, noveltoons.... it makes me feel like a big kid lol

  • Oh my gosh! I remeber this! Haha! Here come the memories of me watching this with my Grandma when she would babysit me as a kid. I miss her soo much. Thank-god for memories ^.^

  • aaww this is so cute! I heard this song recently and I told my sister we had the cartoon when we were little but she didn't remember and she's 3 years older than me!

  • Just great! A wonderful cartoon with wonderful music! (5*)

  • Beautiful!

  • Oh my goodness. I remember this.

  • The voice of the town crier figuire inside of

the cuckoo clock was Mr.Jackson Beck..the

voice of Bluto in The Paramount/Famous Popeye

    movie cartoons.

  • ive been searching online for this

    for ever.

im so happy i could cry.

i remembered watching them when i was little

    & i adored them.

whats the movie that has this

    & all the other ones??

    someone please let me know!

  • Does anyone know the movie this came from... when I was little I used to have this on a tape... and their was an old rudolph cartoon when he lays in bed crying and his mother says tonight you hang up your stocking...other deer were wrapping pillows around them with skates, then a real life act with a wolf, ogar and puss in boots, easter bunny with a princess who sings at the end.. and there was this one too.

  • i used to watch that cartoon. i remember the reindeer cartoon. it was one of my favorite. if anyone knows where its at let me know too.

  • i found the cartoon with the reindeer. its on here. type in rudolph the red nosed reindeer (1948)

  • I had this when I was little! :D

  • I just love Beanie and

    cecil! THankx, Robin!

  • The "Ski Slide" at 2:17 is a gentle swipe at Paramount's #1 comedy star of 1949, Bob "Ski Nose" Hope; Popeye {Famous Studios' #1 cartoon attraction} puts in a cameo at 2:45. Jack Mercer, Popeye's voice, is the "Toy Solider"...

  • I also noticed that at 1:23, the clown looks like Koko the Clown from the Betty Boop cartoons, the beads turn into Carmen Miranda at 1:39, and a Harpo Marx is the Jack-in-the-Box honking after her at 1:43!

  • When I was little, I used to watch this all the time. I love this song. :D

  • great job

    i love it.
