I know you've probably heard all the stories but if you are travelling alone, anything to allow you to be tracked in case you get kidnapped and held for ransom?
Man I want to do this when I;m out of college, are you planning on updating as you go? Where do you plan on sleeping, besides the tent? no bags? sheets?
omg dude, yoru guide are like - this is a sky and that shiny thing a sun. Common, every sane human is able to figure out what he should take for a trip.
It will be interesting to see how the bike will perform at such a high altitude. You seem well prepared for every circumstance though so have a great adventure, i'll be watching closely.
nice i can't believe you fit this all into a 7 min vid! hahaha little fyi if you don't already know... is that you can post 15min vids now :) good luck!
@AtlasRider Inventive idea - I like. Layering is the best way to go for the rest of your clothing. You got your Sun screen & mosquito net? Duck tape is another useful item. As are baby wipes (e.g cleaning your visors and ... *ah hem* anything else you may need to clean). Your making me jealous man. I wish you all the best.
I dunno man, you're taking a lot of electronics into some pretty poor countries. Have you though about whether you'll stick out too much riding with all that gear? I've lived in poorer countries and I tell you, a bike like that sure would get people's interest.
@arakitai I'll try not to stick out. I've seen people with gear 10X as expensive as mine. All the gear I have is expendable in my mind if theft does occur.
@AtlasRider If those cases are removable overnight you should be okay. Especially if you have a nice shrill motion alarm on the bike. By the way, I think what you're doing 100% nuts, and therefore 120% awesome!!!
@arakitai I can remove my cases in 5 minutes, and I will have a motion alarm on the bike. So I am trying to mitigate risks, but not going overboard about it,
Mosquito repellent. I don't recall seeing that in your stash. What you and I take for granted as a normal thing to do may get you in prison in a different country. Not sure if taking the axe is smart. Those custom agents may be working with a different set of rules we are not use to. I don't know about the electrical in the countries you are going to, but in Europe and many other areas of the world you need a converter. Europe uses 230v for everything. The hertz may be different too.
Yes looking for the follow up vid. Thanks.

@cashstore1 The electrical outlet and voltage is the same here in Costa Rica and all of Latin America if I'm not mistaken.
