I really don't think I've ever cried so much in such a short amount of time. I sit here clinching my Service Dog, a 16 month old American Pit Bull Terrier, in absolute fear that one day, BSL could find its way into our city. Many cities in our state already have Bull Shit Legislation in place. It disgusts me. I don't know where I would be without my Service Dog.

Ive moved here and have front row tickets for the fireworks show. It should be the beginning of the end of the breed ban here in Denver. Its gonna be messy, but FUN to watch.

@DaziDog I made myself watch it. If I'm going to fight and make others watch I feel that I need to watch it too. I never could find anything about the gas chambers connected with BSL that were good enough to use as a source but when I gave the speech and showed this other video "Stop the Breed Specific Legislation (BSL)" by k9Dedicated and after I showed it everyone was surprised that people could do that. I also showed picture of the dead Denver dogs. I think I made a lasting impression.

Funny you suggest helping from a far. I just wrote an email to someone this morning re: helping from out of state. My plans are all hard target and will occur locally (IE 100 Mile Walk for Pit Bulls, Pit Bull Meet and Greets with the public, regularly scheduled protests, attending EVERY city council meeting and bringing on the heat, etc).

The best I can suggest is start a movement where you live... and make sure the media was watching.

We have a lot more 'pit bull' dogs around here now, compared to last year. But I have only come across one bad owner. I think we could have a positive outcome over our town. BSL laws are not the answer. What people do not understand is that the Pitbull has been made the scapegoat in all this, Yet bsl laws can and will expand to include any dog deemed visious or dangerous. Instead of banning a breed we need to ban and stop the abuse these animals suffer everyday. Like DaziDog said write your congressman and ahve them see these videos and do what you can to get the word out before bsl laws ruin a wonderful breed.

What's funny is that people who are in favor of BSL can't seem to present a single piece of reliable evidence to support their claims. You ask people if they think pits are naturally aggressive, and you'll get a response that's something along the lines of, "Yes." BSL, is a very sad situation. I have had pits and I have had rotties for the past 20 years or so. It instills sadness and anger that some feel the need to put any dog down because of it's breed. Not all responsible APBT owners can be found at a dog park. :-) I'll never take any of mine to a dog park as I can't control the dogs they'll interact with, but my APBTs (thrown away strays and cruelty seizures) do regular walks w/our pit bull club and my dogs are regularly socialized with a select few neighbor dogs. This really broke my heart. It was sent to me by the Pompano Beach Dog Pack (Florida), since there has been talk of a statewide BSL here.

Maybe if people thought about BSL in a different way, innocent dogs would not be killed. But it was so hard to leave her behind. She was family and such a good dog and wouldnt dream of attacking a human or other animal.

i honestly cried when they just chuck the dog into the garbage like a piece of shit.

i dont believe they should be banned but there should be a big process to be able to own ANY dog their are so many animal abuser's thats why there are bad dogs they should do a complete back round check on EVERY person who wants to own ANY kind of animal whether it be a dog a cat or a friggin hamster bad owners

Wow! Im gonna post this in a blog on my myspace! I have been watching videos on Pit Bulls alot and for a long time and I am just in tears over this one. I wish people could see what is happening and do their research! No BSL!!!

Since I loaded this video, I have been to Denver, I have been to Denver Municipal Animal Shelter, I have stood on their death row and seen their pits, and hauled one of them out of there and brought him and Forrest (see save Forrest video) home with my dog Daze.

It is my every intention to see class action lawsuits brought upon all members of Denver City Council, the Mayor, the Police Cheif, and the Director of Animal Control on charges of incompitence

If they try and enforce this in my town/state. Ill have a remington 870 on the other side of that door. try and get my pit, ull have 9 shots of a magnum round 12ga in ur chest. Thats if there is anything left after the first round lol.

though i dont own a gun... yet.... i couldnt agree more. i would let them shoot me and injure me before they get to my dog. and i think daze feels the same about me... she has tango'd with a couple black bear, many fox, and I think a coyote to keep them away from me.

The world need more and more like you as well as those willing to post similar videos. if a guy with a cute chihuahua and a doberman can post vids of his dogs playing and get on animal planet ands various news reels featuring his dogs, people like you can do it with constructive messages! keep going! don't stop. This video mad me cry... I never cry..never.. BSL=ignorance.. If the politicians think pitbulls are dangerous..they should think about giving me lethal injection because,i make any mistreated pitbull look like an angel,when I'm pissed off..I just want 10 minutes alone with the POS that thought up this law,just 10 minutes.. you know what the sad thing is..it doesn't matter how much we vote or rally or protest or cry or educate....the government makes blanket rules for the minorities of the world weather we like it or not. The people don't have a say. Even when all the MOST educated and important people say no....in the end, the government does what ever the hell they want. I own one of the most likely breeds to go next and it makes me ILL to think about it. "Pit Bulls" are banned in Ontario Canada makes me ILL!

Awesome video and shows what a great family pet pit bulls make! I'm grateful that you were able to make this for others to watch, but I had to scroll down as I've already had to say good-bye to two of my Angel Pit Bulls just because of old age and I will miss them until we are together again in heaven. My present girl is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and my second service dog and she gives me the ability to live my life normally and yet BSL would take her from me - how cruel!
