If you want to attach it to your windscreen-windshield try it with a windshield mount (you can find it on the contour's official website or check on the ebay)

Yes the only way to configure is on story teller!

@SLeDHeaDDude800 not true. if you have the connect card you can hook it up to the contour ios app and do it right from your mobile phone. i suppose this only works on certain models

hi, i was wondering if you knew what your mic volume was set at for the contour? because i have the contour 1080hd with nothing on the camera and i have it set at 20 and it basically erases wind noise or is low. but the sock deffinetely did help a lot.

Gave up and sold the Contour, bought a GoPro. Now have NO wind noise and have perfect engine sounds

Tried everything. Ordered a waterproof case for mine today. It should work and sound like the GoPro that is encased in plastic holder.

Well the waterproof case works but there is NO sound cause now the mic. is enclosed!

@SLeDHeaDDude800 The gopro has a back panel with holes in it for taking video on a motorcycle. I even put tape over these holes and it still sounds good with almost 0 wind noise. Did you try just a piece of electrical tape over the mic hole?

@SLeDHeaDDude800 One other thing.  why not drill a small hole in the back of the waterproof case? It's only a $28 accessory, so you could buy two if you wanted it waterproof.

Yep, it works I just tried it ,a good 70 80% less noise up to 100km/h. cheers for that.
