Glad to see many turned up from all parties of this nation. Im sorry but to say UKIP will be the winner is not correct people from ALL parties where there that day. I signed the referendum but i didnt sign cos i voted ukip
@ColonelRoss111 I completely agree and have also sent my Convervative Party membership card back to my Conservative MP. What happened with the 3 line whip was an absolute disgrace - shut all the discussion up, treat the populus like children. I am absolutely disgusted with democracy in this country.
On Monday, before the open and shut calamity of a vote, I sent my Conservative Party membership card to my MP. I left the Conservative Party as they no longer represent me and i can never go back to them until they stop this march into the abyss. Mr Farage asked in his Conference speech this year "Please help me!" well the time has come for me to say "Let me help you" and for other Conservatives to consider whether the Tory Party is still worthy of them and of their loyalty.
@ColonelRoss111 I'm glad to see growing support for UKIP, but what should Cameron expect? In recent years, mainstream party leaders have become totally detached from reality, and they have developed a level of cynicism towards the electorate that is now bringing consequences. Do they really believe that Nick Clegg can dismiss our democratic rights with "It ain't going to happen"? Who the hell is he to tell us we don't have a say in the future of our own country? Good for you.
Well done Nigel Farage for standing up for this. Parliament has no power it just ratifies legislation passed in Europe by politicians who are voted in by a fraction of the electorate. This is not democracy by any stretch of the imagination.
Nigel Farage is the man! I'm from the U.S. and wondering why we don't have anyone like him, (the closest thing being Dr. Ron Paul .) Farage gets it.! He knows the EU is a scam and will lead to the impoverishment of the EU. I don't understand why Britons would want to give control over their monetary, environmental, and immigration policies to unelected bureaucrats in a foreign land?
@hackjack21 we didnt want to the politicians never gave us a say in this. gordon brown signed the lisbon treaty with out us telling he could do so they are surrendering everything we have to line there pockets. I say vote UKIP!
We never had a vote on the EU in 1975 - ie giving our sovereignty away and been run by foreigners. The vote was for a trading community ONLY.
I voted against even then. We had been trading with Europeans since boats had been invented without problems, so why the need to join a trading community? Obviously a front for something else. - hence my vote against then. To quote you 'get your facts straight.'
I'm not even British, I'm French, but I love Nigel! I wish we had one like him in France. I wish the UK the best, under Mr Farage, and hopefully his example will inspire other EU politics!
Nigel Farrage the most underrated PM we've never had. Ted Heath the lying sack of rubbish who signed us up to the EU back in 1973, since then we've NEVER had a vote. Van Rompuay who the hell is this charlatan? I didn't vote for him, I didn't vote for the EU, we want out Cameron!!!!! The EU is a corrupt disgraceful waste of space which WILL FAIL!!!!!!!!!
Bring it on Nigel, the only man in the UK who truly understands Rumpuy..Barrosso, and Shultz etc. Non of em democratically elected. Long may you rein the Fighting Bull..
We had a referendum on the European Project. Euroscepticism lost decisively. Also, lol @ the guy who has claimed over a million Euros in expenses from European taxpayers criticising "career politicians"
@2BMIKE1569 A very odd comment, considering the fact that the very people you are maligning are the people who remember Britain when it WAS a great country - and who, as a group, are the strongest supporters of Britain's extraction from the EU.
"a large majority of the people who voted in 1975 are dead now"? I hope you aren't in any way involved in UKIP campaigning. Nor the two clowns who gave you a thumbs up.
@herringfly Don't get me wrong, i'm not criticising the people who voted for the " Common market " because what they voted for then has no resemblance to the monster that is the eu today.
All i'm saying is, its about bloody time WE had a vote, oh sorry i forgot WE no longer live in a democracy !
@Subotan If you are gonna write shit at least research a little of the shit you write, it was 2 miillion and it was plughed back into the party . using the e.u money against the e.u , what a great move and anyhow whats two million against 40 million a day ..
@Subotan Are you retarded or just ignorant? they get allowances, not expenses.. and he used it all to be the most active MEP in europe, and thus the world. He pocketed nothing, and in fact took a substansial pay cugt to become an MEP.
Ditto! I'm living in Japan but I totally admire him, not only for his fantastic eloquent speech deliverings but also for his passion and commitment on his political opinions!
@fleetwoodmac1982 I couldn't have said it myself. I'm still in High School, but I'm thinking of moving to the UK in the future, maybe for a few years or even for college, and if and when I do, he's definitely got my support.
@rhinnawi95 I don't know man, I wouldn't move from the US to UK, at least there's still some freedom of speech and less political correctness in the US. I think Ron Paul is sending a similar message as Farrage. Not trying to meddle or spam just a thought. Cheers.
@rax989 I love to hear about Ron Paul, because he's actually my favorite politician here. I just like exploring European culture and society. I'm only talking temporary move, an explore-the-world adventure/experiment before I settle in with a wife and start a family or something. I'm thinking about the UK, Germany, Switzerland, and the Scandinavian countries. I still haven't settled on a real plan yet, but I'd love to spend a few years in that part of the world.
