  • Super! The pain in my siatic area is so bad I am contemplating ending the struggle. Painkillers don't work and only make me stoned and have 'no life'. I also like the stretch while sitting: cross over foot on top of opposite leg thigh area. Press down on knee of bent leg. Can really feel the siatic stretch. I am trying to cope again. 'One never looses if they don't stop trying.' Keep up your blogs! Thank you. Thank you.

  • There's a wolf.....

  • Hee hee hee... he sure looks like a wolf, doesn't he? That's "Tequila", a Queensland Healer/Australian Shepherd mix. Most loyal dog you could ever ask for. As you can see from the video, every time I took a few steps, he got up and followed me. He was my constant shadow. A very intense dog.

  • That would help me a ton if only I had the ability to bend. Sigh.

  • Hi Oceanala- I started keeping a food journal six months. While I tested "negative" for Celiac's disease, I noticed that I was always more stiff, and got migraines, within 24 hours of eating anything with wheat (gluten) in it. This STILL happens to me. I had just one bite of my son's birthday cake yesterday. This morning, my son had to give me a shove so that I could roll myself out of bed and get into a standing position! I was that stiff! For me, grain equals pain. Try a food journal. -D

  • Hello! Thanks for the note! Men with fibromyalgia have a harder road ahead of them than women, although it is a difficult path for both men and women. In children, the rate of Juvenile Fibromyalgia is equal 50-50 boys and girls. At puberty, boys have about an 80 percent chance of outgrowing the disease, whereas almost all girls retain the disease into adulthood. You were in the 20 percent of males who carried the disease into adulthood with you. My son has Juvenile Fibromyalgia. (cont.)

  • any suggestions would be readily accepted. Within reason peeps

  • With regards to suggestions, I maintain a website with a lot of information about treatments that have helped me. Please note that I do not sell anything. I do not believe people should profit off of those with fibromyalgia. I follow the "Guaifenesin Protocol" for fibro. (You can Google or Wikipedia the term to find out what this is.) I recently find out that adding "Iodoral" or "Lugol's Solution" can boost Guai's effectiveness. It's simply potassium + iodine. It's helped my headaches.

  • Hi just want you to know i suffer chronic pain and have been diagnosed as having fibro and its completely recked my life i'm 30yr old and seem not to have a future.
