Not being funny but 2 of the 20 people to reply to this post have had these rods break! Bloody glad I read these posts cos was gonna buy some of these rods. Too much carp gear is cheap rubbish sold off as quality gear, the price of some stuff ridiculous.
ye you might be right about money wise with free spirit but if your fishing big waters and your castin 150 yrds plus with pva bags these are the rods to buy. and when i first started fishing i bought some nash persuits x rods and i broke 2 on casts using 4oz leads and i payed £190 a rod and then my m8 bought some venoms ans he broke 1 on a cast anall. so ill keep away from nash crap from now on 8)
I had my doubts when I first bought these rods as one broke on setting up .but glad I stuck with them and love them now ! playing action is wicked as you can really feel the fight of smaller fish, but have lots of backbone lower down for stopping carp in their tracks if you fishing near weed or snags and plenty of casting power too have caught lots of twenties with them and they look the nuts
yep, straight up, first itime setting it up just went along the top section like it was being unzipped ..it did look pretty comical though, but I assure you I was fucking livid !!
I played fish though weed, snags and everything and they are brilliant. I never needed to cast really far with them but I've put a 1.5 oz lead 100 yard with them and I could prob hit further than that.
i was gunna get them but i decided to get the chub outkasts nd i think im made a great choice:D i love them xp ..but the venoms are still sexy and look reliable
these rods are a credit to nash, simply awesome, stunningly thin yet enough power to cast a mile, with great playing action. Bought a pair and since have bought two more.
lol! 40mm butt ring! Omg amazing huh! and makes you wanna rush out and buy a few of these rods right away doesnt it :o) Think Not :o) .. I will say though that ive never used them so for all i know they may well be fantastic to use and they do look nice so maybe they are a decent rod perhaps but the 40mm butt ring point made in the advert doesnt get me excited lol
good rods never had any problems

if you call threading the line through the rings ( under about three drams of tension ) doing something, you would perhaps be right !

I agree totally. They're awesome.
I played fish though weed, snags and everything and they are brilliant. I never needed to cast really far with them but I've put a 1.5 oz lead 100 yard with them and I could prob hit further than that.
