  • Dave has a pretty ingenious way of dealing with this difficult customer! This seems like a good way to let the Donk wear himself out and learn to trust himself and the farrier at the same time! I am going to be using this technique on my ornery little mini mule! She HATES to have her feet done, and this is a good way to stay safe while trimming the feet!

    thanks for your comment, it's a good way to keep both human & animal safe, along with teaching them that we mean no harm. They soon learn it's just easier to cooperate. Dave is also a good example of how to remain calm and not to get mad at the animal.
