I recently purchased a Kahr cw45. I put 150 rounds of federal 225 gr fmj through it. Worked perfectly. Cleaned my gun afterward. Then I bought a box of tulammo 230 gr fmj and 30 rounds in I had 2 miss fires and 1 stove pipe. Maybe my gun just doesn't like this brand? I don't know.
i noticed that my xd loves steel cased ammo, but sometimes jams using brass(kinda weird). I did a complete disassembly and cleaning of the gun and am off to the range to check to see if it functions 100%. Sucks that i have to by brass today just to see, I usually only shoot the steel cased stuff cause i don't reload...
@RainmanE350 Interesting, I just use this to plink and never had an issue. Just went out and used 100 rds of this. Depends on the batch it seems from what I have heard, but what I have experience is it works for me.
yep same here, works flawlessly in all my guns (XD40 Tactical, M&P40, Glock 17, Beretta 92fs, Armscor Citadel 1911, Ma'adi AK 47 guns i don't have anymore Ruger P95, S&W Sigma) i think it's usually the guns that have a problem. Honestly i've only had one hangup and that was in my AK and it was the magazine's fault. This is all i buy because it's so cheap, the primers are a little harder than normal and LOTS of smoke and dirty but hey for target can't beat it with a stick.
really love this ammo. Shot 100 rounds a couple days ago. Every round went bang. no FTF or FTE. Pretty accurate. kinda smokey. smells like fireworks. Compared to my normal load of PMC, Its actually cleaner. Go Figure. Definitely will buy again.
@CaptainBerz you would think right? but i shot 25 rounds of PMC and then after a cleaning two days later shot 100 Tulammo and the difference what night and day. Im very surprised.
I just got back from the range today, works in my full size Rock Island Armory 1911 with no malfunctions, the ammo puts out large muzzle flash and a lot of smoke.
This Ammo is rebranded WOLF! Dont use this fucking crap! They rebranded it because WOLF was so fucking bad, they changed the name and the case just to trick dumb ass people like you into buying it!
@SOLDERBOY69 look on there website says they are not affiliated with wolf at all they where but wolf was made by tulammo back when wolf was not as bad hehe
Good stuff at a great price. No problems at all with it, as opposed to winchester white box. My only problem is I can't seem to find any more at the moment.
I just finished up a 5000 pack of TulAmmo 5.56 primers I used for reloading. $99 for 5k. Every last one of them went bang. Needless to say I will be buying more.
@CaptainBerz Yea, my comment was more directed at the guy that said he had the %4 failure to fire rate, in his G17 with TulAmmo due to the primers. Sturmgewehre has a video tittled " the truth about wolf ammo". It is the best explanation of the facts and myths about steel ammo I have seen. It says Wolf, but it pretty much applies to steel cases in general. Thanks
@otter6613 I saw Sturmgewehre's video as well. I really like his videos, well thought out and excellent demonstrations. I go for more of the off the cuff style, lol...
I don't care for TulAmmo, its the only ammo I have ever had fail to fire in my Glock 17 (primer failed to ignite the powder in 2 rounds out of 50). I have only tried the 9mm so maybe their 45 is better. I think it goes for 9.50 at Wal-mart but you can get Federal for 10.50 and I have shot thousands of rounds of that without a problem. Also I clean my pistol after every firing so I know it wasn't a maintenance issue. Hope you have better luck than I did!
@shootingupflares I do have better luck cause it works for me. I know Tula has made a new plant recently, so maybe some quality issues are fixed now. Who knows...lol
Oh no, you can reload them. They're boxer primed. I know because I've done it.

@TheNopedawg Wow, I never heard that. I would sent that back to Springfield.

The 9mm was not as accurate as RWS or Speer GDHP. The 380 Auto had two duds
