  • red hot chili peppers and fishbone played a temple university spring fling in like 87 or 88..hillel was still alive, but anthony was too strung out to perform,so members of fishbone took turns singing...

  • Skankin all day long!!!!!!!

  • Only idiots compare the two, I am sure the bands had respect for each other as it's evident in RHCP track Good Time Boys which features a sample of Bonin' in the Boneyard.

  • i love the last part. "AHHHHHH I H8 records!!!!!!"

  • merry christmas George Bailey ( and Fishbone and everybody else )

  • aahh..the 'Bone, reminds me of my college days

  • They open for the Chili Peppers @ the Ritz that where i frist saw them. back then they were a great band .

  • You want old skool... Fishbone, Murphy's Law and the Beastie Boys at the Arrogone Ballroom in Chicago 1987. Doesn't get much better than that!

  • @pokeymwc23 murphy's law,public enemy,beastie boys philadelphia spectrum 1986

  • @drummermizike word

  • haha the ending is dope

  • love that grumbling bassline!

  • so creative love the old school Black and White!

  • @HomicidalxTurtle Trey Spruance and Trevor Dunn have admitted to being big Fishbone fans back in the days.

  • yes!

  • mr bungle anyone?

  • I'm sure they were influenced by fishbone...

  • there is no denying it.

  • uhhhh what? u dum?

  • me? no... but you, very probable.

  • Frank Capra anyone ?

  • Classic. Total, Classic!

  • For real-I ain't never seen this video or heard this song---and I love me some ska! Long live the Fishbone brothers! These brothers got slept on by the industry big time! I guarantee you if they were white, they would have even bigger back in the day, and would be getting WAY more airplay! The majority of their stuff I only heard because I bought their albums, period. They're still around and kicking minus some original members, though!

  • True that money fame ......Fishbone kicked ass early 90's great releases no air play ....

  • Slick Nick, what a track that was. Fishbone is RED HOT! The best live band ever. Too bad the groups they spawned (including the Chili Peppers) made all the money!

  • I do believe the Chili Peppers first album was a year before Fishbone's, but Fishbone is a much better band.

  • @bassferyou it dont matter cuz both are legendary

  • @bassferyou don't compare two ccomplete different bands, both have their own good things

  • Damn I used to have this on cassette as a B-side to Slick Nick, You Devil You

  • SLICK NICK is an awesome song!
