  • Hi there ,I just boght an EKO vintage acoutic guitar ,its an archtop with the F holes,# 158495 ,do you know where ,I find out the year it was made. thanx.

  • I'm italian..EKO IS A GREAT GUITAR..but italian don't know how to use it!...WATCH THE BLACK KEYS!!!!

  • Ah Ah...you shown that shit of Celentano and other idiots of that times, can't believe it, you probably still think it's kinda of a good visit card....Like could be Beatles for English people. You're completely out of the reality guys....

They WERE and are good guitars, anyway....I got three from '90.

  • I'm from Bogotá Colombia, and in the last two years i've seen a lot of Eko guitars in the music shops of my city. Never heard of this brand here. I looked one, the arrow shaped one, but i saw that it was build in China. Are this guitars any good?

Maybe the best way to find out is by playing it.

  • i have an electric EKO GG3 and i love it!

  • I got 12 string EKO used and they are cool guitars 1969 about.

  • I got an EKO guitar Modello Studio L for my 10th birthday. Took some guitar lessons but lost interest in playing. Now, almost 30 years later i put new strings on the guitar and playing it again! Nice video.

  • Just got an 1960's Eston Ranger 6 today for free! (Eston = Eko released in Australia) I absolutely love it already, and I think this will be a lifetime keeper!

    Pretty heavy though :)

  • I have Eko guitars, a Ranger 12 string, a red sparkle 820 3/V and a gold sparkle 500 4/v. All perfectly set up, and I tend to play the EKOs more than my Fenders and Gibsons. Great guitars.

  • Sure enough, Edoardo Bennato is translated as saying Eko, not "Eeeko"; in the 1970s, when he did his best stuff & played mostly solo & acoustic, he used the 12-string Eko Ranger, probably the most popular Eko guitar. They should have mentioned the red-top Vox Continental organ, also made by Eko in Italy, used by The Animals, The Doors, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Velvet Undeground, The Monkees, Elvis Costello, The Specials, etc.. which they should manufacture again as millions would buy it

  • "Eeeko"? What a shame. In Italian it's certainly pronounced with an "e". Even in English the word "echo" is pronounced with a "e", as in Edinburgh, ecstasy, or electricity. So, where do they get "eeeko" from? My God, those philosophers, sociologists, commentators, etc... are right when they say that the world is getting dumber by the minute then; words are misused as in some sort of orwellian double-speak, nothing has any meaning anymore, & everybody talks about things they know nothing about

  • I have only EKO instruments (Guitars & Bass Guitars).

For me wonderful instruments and wonderful sound!
