  • Red Dead Redemption graphics were amazing, and GTA V has surpassed it. You aint seen nothing yet people!!

  • Why can't they just use a proper graphics card and enable multisampling for these test videos? Looks like pixelated crap.

  • joeyjoejoe5000 6 subscribers 0 video veiws weldome to youtube fucking troll

  • kk zuadoo

  • You gotta admit 360 games sure improved drastically since 2005.

  • the sandbox doesnt start for me.

  • Crytek pretty much sucks at making good engines. They look good, but run like garbage. It's no surprise that far more developers would rather use Unreal Engine 3, it looks amazing, and runs great as well.

  • Yeh, CryEngine 3 is pretty bad.

  • @FirstPersonSlayer you mean awesome, though I agree that the new Unreal Engine is better

  • Why don't MMORPG use this engine ? Impressive, most impressive !

  • 2:37 Less bloom would be better.

  • hell yeah WiiU will have cry3 :)

  • Does anyone know where I can buy this??? I've been to crytek.com and I cant find where to buy it...pls help, thanks

  • Crytek!! Y U NO USE AA :/

  • damn that moving curtain was scary

  • wiedzmin

  • I want 1080p!!!!

  • Console or PC, in the end, it's just fucking games.

  • imagine rockstar games with a cryengine3....gta.....wow.....

  • @lazzg

thats why i hate crysis. amazing graphics but horrible and poor, boring gameplay.

  • @lazzg imagine every game with cryengine 3, super mario brothers wooow

  • @lazzg gta san andreas+cryengine 3=*heart attack*

  • @lazzg Heh, GTA4's engine is pretty solid, and capable of some pretty amazing this with mods. Check out this video: watch?v=pEHtzSz8FT0 That's a video for ICEnhancer, a mod for GTA4, and it looks fucking gorgeous. If you've got a bitchin gaming machine, you should give it a try.

  • All the Cryengine 3 talk was pretty interesting. To bad all you fagots had to bury it under pages and pages of gay ass fagoty console war bullshit. Games are fun no matter how you play them. So how about you all shut the fuck up about stupid shit that doesn't fucking matter.

  • @RadiantSilvergun3 You have some good points, but then you discredit it by saying fagot.

  • @indigo0indie0boy No i don't. You choose to ignore words of wisdom because a word you don't like happens to be used. The word only has power if you give it power.

  • @RadiantSilvergun3 perhaps. but as far as I know, fagot is used by retards and simpletons, thus any intellectual credibility is dampened.

  • @RadiantSilvergun3 Haha so true....

  • @RadiantSilvergun3

Sounds like you own an Xbox

  • @RadiantSilvergun3 Love you man.

  • Btw, is Battlefield 3 gonna run on CryEngine 3? Because it looks even better than Crysis 2!

  • @MrRegor23 Nah, I think it runs on DICE's Frostbite engine, same one BFBC2 was running on but definitely more advanced. And yes, it looks amazing.

  • @MrRegor23 Frosbitte 2.

  • For some reason this video makes me think of Assassin's Creed using the CryEngine, which would be amazing lol. Not that Assassin's Creed's engine is bad but the CryEngine is incredible

  • haha after reading the comments it seems that computers are beating consoles in the argument. im glad to have people that agree with me. i dont like consoles near as much as pcs or macs (though pc is better for gaming lol i do have a mac with a win 7 partition to play games, (i use mac for everything else)) im hoping the days of outdated consoles are over soon, but chances are that is not going to happen :(

  • They focused too much on the lightning. And how about they fix the fucking gameplay?!

  • @Toca91 Something tells me you haven't played the full version of the engine. Besides I don't believe that every game will have the same gameplay, along with the fact that you might just suck.

  • @kilkun No, dude, you misunderstood me. I like the story, graphics, physics and bunch of other stuff. But the only thing that makes game MUCH MORE worse is their aiming system on PC. It reminds of those cheap FPS games and it's harder to aim, unlike games like COD, BC2, CS:S, etc. The game is 10/10 but the aiming system literally ripped their gameplay apart.

  • @Toca91 Ok, I just wanted to understand here. I can completely agree with you on that part, except Cryengine 3 has very nice aiming.

  • @kilkun I haven't tried CryEngine 3 yet.

  • @Toca91 Play the Crysis 2 demo. It's out right now.

  • Well, just like it's name: CryEgine make my computer cries >:(

  • PC gamers are so proud of their graphics they go full retard and start flame wars... just ignore them...

  • @jeppewie1206 lol after BF3 it will be 10x worst!!

  • @jeppewie1206 Shut up fanboy you know PC is better

  • @mt2oo8 LOLLLL FAILLLL

  • @thebigcheese1122 Fail?? you know PC is better STFU

  • @mt2oo8 LOLL more fail.

It is if you want to spend thousands annually to get something to run as cleanly and smoothly as a console does.

PC gamers are so anal hurt it's not even funny any more. It's quite sad.

  • @thebigcheese1122 Consoles run smoothly because they are specially designed for games and dedicated machines; not because they're powerful. The main reasons we buy PCs over consoles are because the quality will always be better, they are often cheaper, and we can upgrade them, whereas people generally purchase consoles when ease of use is more important than any other factor. Keep in mind that the hardware specifications on consoles tend to be severely neglected to cut price.

  • I want to see CryEngine 3 vs. Frostbite Engine 2.0.

Please no replies with ex. "CryEngine is betta nub. BF sucks, blablabla" or "Of course FE 2.0 rapes CryEngine, Crysis sucks. BF FTW 1337".

I wonder which engine is better at rendering, lightning (lights), details, fps (not the genre), complexity. :) Hope people agrees!

  • this SHOULD take the hard drive size of a game down by a few gigabytes (fewer pre-rendered lighting scenes) but the designers choose to make 16 gb games that could fit in 1 gb.

  • cry engine 3 is soo badass

  • with AMD and ATi, you can build a filthy computer for cheap.

  • decent mid-range pc.

  • crytek engines will make awesome call of duty games, but they should only stay with games like crysis

  • dual gtx 470's , intel core i7 at 3.0 and 12 gig of ram FTW ! :DD ( mine ) lol

  • @Legoman0323 u dont need 2 gpus, u dont need 12 gb, 4 gb is enough these days.

But its nice to build for future so u dont have to upgrade every year.

This one can last about 3 years.

  • @Legoman0323 my laptop

is the best for this games

    2.93GHZ i7 single core

    8Gb Ram

4606Mb of graphic board + 1Gb of dedicated

and it costs less than 1500€(2.062,23$)

  • @Skullbrothers

i7 cannot be single core you stinking liar

  • @ElboTheHedgehog lol owned

  • @Skullbrothers

i7 single core , hahahaha, good one

  • @Talmonisoni Processador Intel® Core™ i7-740QM | velocidade de relógio : 1.73 / 2.93 Turbo GHz | Front Side Bus : 1333 MHz | cache de nível 3 : 6 MB

it doesnt say dual core --'

  • @Skullbrothers

of course not , why should it. Its a quad core..... there are no i7 single cores. if ppl brag about their stuff they should at least get their facts right :p

  • Nazar boncugu...

  • The Future. Is here.

  • i could build with 400€ a computer that can run crysis 2 on medium

  • i think that cryengine 3 is worse than cryengine 2 because you can easily realise that this is a game while cryengine 2 was almost reality and in some points you couldnt guess if it is a game or not

  • @Terrorcowboy CryEngine3 = Crysis 2 + CFG Tweaks > Crysis 1 and/or CFF Tweaks.

  • Unreal Engine best engine ever!

  • Turkish Power !

  • Gran turismo and uncharted 2 did this easily....the shading in u2 is perfect and in u3 itll be better. I gotta be honest though. This would be great to have in every game

  • fapfapfapfapfap

  • incredible realistic light . Good job crytek

  • Wow your comp sucks..

  • Guys if you want build a nice gaming computer for like crysis 2, BF3 or MW3... you need to get AMD system I mean the AMD cpu, ATI GPU... because its cheap and better than intel... thumps up so all can see this info. peace

  • wtf this?

  • oo shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

  • Crytek should had made call of duty series

  • @FredTF2 Crysis's multiplayer sucked hard time, so no thank you.

  • @FredTF2

aaaaaaaaaaand thats the point why not

    it would end as crysis

  • funny that this video have 69069 views

  • The relese of this game is to far away.

Im going to go frezze myself

  • @1LostPixel its funny how you think this is a game

  • This is power for real world games.

  • @radishassasin But most people who own consoles, also have a PC, since they are more important to have than a gaming console. Many people just don't know how to upgrade properly, or don't want to bother. I certainly respect that position, but if a person places video games over managing their life, then their decision making ability should be called into question. PC's are used for lots more than games, consoles are rarely used for more than entertainment.

  • @radishassasin Or more so those who buy a PC for other uses. I just spent like $650 on a brand new laptop and it still cannot run games like this. I can run pretty good graphics with no lag, but not fucking Crysis. Sims 3 works well though :P

  • Even though the textures don't seem updated as much, the lighting sure has. The shaders have gotten a huge boost.

  • uh mate This is a show case of Unreal ED 3 during the 2009 gdc

  • not impressed the graphics llook like shit

  • @projectplaylist999 yeah they are im suprised they arent better although this is mostly lighting effects i think so the isn't any physics involved but if thats real time gameplay then this isnt next gen!

  • theres no cacy theme music?!?!?!? grrr

  • is that real time?

  • @Kamshak1337 100% real time

  • two words: Yawn O.O

  • You can build yourself a nasty PC for easily under $1000 these days.

  • @imallfordabulls thats true hell im doing it right now.

  • @imallfordabulls i know right

  • @imallfordabulls even leess than that

i built a custom pc thats twice as powerful than the highest spec alienware and it came to under £600

yet the alienware is like £2000

  • @PremierLeagueSnipers Can you perhaps tell us what was inside the comptuer and how much they were? cause 600 quid is cheap!

  • @FeministicFront go onot i think it was ether alienware or dell website and u create ure cutsom pc with each internal part and theres like deals if u get a specific processor u get like the top of the range cooling fan for half price n stuff like that

  • @PremierLeagueSnipers never get alienwares, get custom pcs with better wuality components for half the price, ncix dot com is the best place for these types of things.

  • @Nutriment6464 Thanks

yeah i know i dont like alienwares all your paying for is the "brand" the cooling system isnt very good and they overheat regularly making them roundabout useless for certain gamers

    but hthanks for the site

  • @PremierLeagueSnipers Just go to tomshardware website and read some reviews and look at the System builders on a budget guides.

  • @FeministicFront gtx 460, i3, 4gb ram, cheap mobo, cheap case and cheap power supply, 500 gb and you're set! Crysis maxed out ;)

  • @imallfordabulls which I find disgusting... I bought my PC two years ago for $2000... I'm so emo

  • @imallfordabulls You do know that "nasty" means disgusting, correct?

  • @imallfordabulls You can actually run Crysis at 60 (45?) FPS for $500 if you build your own. Check Maximum Pc's website. Knowledge is power, so thumbs up!

  • @imallfordabulls or just buy a console more fun and cost less

  • @Plusimurfriend Wrong. Console ends up costing around $500 to get started with 2 conrollers and 2 games. Plus you already have a PC thats at least $500, more like $650. So that costs $1,000 -$1,150. Or, buy yourself an incredible gaming PC with better graphics for under $1000.

Take your pick- 2 cruddy, outdated machines that each do their jobs mediocre, or one high-tech machine that will give you a better experience in multiple areas.

  • @casey12141 Some people are happy with a console you know, not everyone has "Just under $1000" to spare either.

  • @BurgerSox Did you read what I said? You obviously have a computer and a console, so you've spent over $1,000 right there. Basically what I said was why spend $1,000+ on 2 machines that do 2 things good, when you can buy 1 machine for under $1,000 that does both of those tasks better? It's common sense.

  • @casey12141 Consoles have a better community, that's why!

  • @MrRegor23 Yeah, a bunch of hacking, trash talking, squeaky voiced mother fuckers who ruin the game for you... No thanks.

  • @Egovillain Fair enough, a bigger community then...

  • @MrRegor23 Now don't get me wrong, there are a lot of hackers and shit on PC as well. But you are able to control it by making private servers and set certain access privileges. You cannot do that on Xbox or PS3.

  • @MrRegor23 Usually, but there is a lot of little kids on there also that get annoying. That is the one thing I hate about PC gaming sometimes, is the stuck-up nerds that are a bit more common than on Xbox or whatever. And, consoles are no brainers, just buy them, plug them in, and they work. But for everything else, computer wins :)

  • @casey12141 And the games are always around 2/3rd's of the price.

By the time you've got a proper collection you've spent hundreds less overall.

As well, you're building a rig yourself so you're not going to purposely use cheap thermal compound that'll dry up easily and have the parts overheat.

With PC you've also got the option for not only the prime mouse & keyboard option, but also controllers if you really want to.

You could also then develop and try out your own games.

  • @casey12141 You just proved your own math wrong. A console will cost at most 500 dollar, then the game is at tops 70-80, and the console comes with a controller. A good custom pc costs anywhere from 500 to a couple thousand dollars to start, then 70-80 bucks for the game, and the keyboard and mouse are included with the pc price. Which means that, at the cheapest price of the pc, they are the same price. Now, if you want to keep your pc ahead and working good, you need to keep buying the best

  • cards and ram, which will cost you more now, where as the console continues to perform as long as game are made for it. And the console is pre built, so no chance of breaking it yourself, where as a custom you can hurt the processor, motherboard, ram, etc. A pre built now hassle pc with any sort of power to run games is atleast in the 900 dollar range. And the SMALL graphical improvement that comes with the pc is not worth the extra hassle and money.

  • This doesn't mean I don't like pc's. I plan to buy the parts as soon as I can so that I can stop buying new consoles every time a new one comes out. But please, if you're going to try and represent the pc gaming community, refresh your math before posting on youtube.

  • @Blu0tuth0ninja Refresh my math lol? What are you talking about? The price of consoles is obvious, and so are desktop PCs. I bought my gaming PC that runs Crysis at almost everything maxed at 50 fps for under $800. There is nothing wrong with what I said; and I don't know why you wouldn't tell me specifically what was wrong if you're going to make a dig at me lol

  • @casey12141 You're wrong because you said its better to buy a pc over a console. If your pc was under 800 dollars, that still means its more expensive than even a ps3, which has equal the graphics to your pc seeing as how yours doesn't max out everything. A console is always a better buy when it comes to games because consoles are designed to run games, unlike pcs. thats why they are still cheaper than any gaming pc, pre built or custom.

  • Gameplay stays the same no matter what system you use, so you just payed a whole lot extra for something that does the same as the much cheaper version.

  • @Blu0tuth0ninja Did you read anything I said? It's better to buy one fairly expensive thing to do 2 tasks very well rather than 2 cheaper machines that add up to cost MORE than the other machine, and do both worse. I don't know what's so hard to get. And no, I paid maybe $350 more for smoother gameplay and better graphics. And you still paid $600 about for a computer, so in the end I still saved $200-300 over you.

  • @Blu0tuth0ninja READ THE POST, I DIDN'T SPEND EXTRA MONEY! You're the one who spent extra, first off. Second, you're absolutely wrong. Crysis isn't even ported to consoles, so there is no gameplay for you to compare in the first place. Now if we talk about a game like MW2, the gameplay still isn't the same. Better graphics and sound = better gameplay. I don't understand what's so hard to understand about it. I paid less money for a better experience, plain and simple. It's all right there.

  • @casey12141 One, you did not spend only 350 for a pc that can run games on even near high settings unless it was pre owned or on sale. Period. The parts are far to expensive. Two, You spent more than I did. i miss typed the xbox price. Its 300 dollars, 50 dollars less than your machine. three, we're discussing machines FOR GAMES, not for anything else. Your machine runs fps at a rate the human eye can't process, meaning its a waste anyway because to the eye it doesn't look any different.

  • @Blu0tuth0ninja If you can not see the differences betwenn PC and XBOX/PS 3 you are blind. No AA/AF or some general options to improve the quality. That sucks.

No, i am no fanboy. I have a PC XBOX 360 and PS 3. I like playing on all three platforms, everything has advantages eg disadvantages. But the graphic point is definitely on the PCs positiv site!

  • Better graphics doesn't mean better gameplay because unless you plan on playing mw2 with your face to the wall examining every crack and craves, Its not gonna make a difference. And you don't get any better sound out of a pc than a console. The sound is the same from all platforms. Crysis is ported to console you tard. Its called crysis 2. Still uses cry engine, still has destructible environment, still still plays the same as crysis 1, which i had the chance to play over at my friends.

  • @Blu0tuth0ninja No lol, I don't know why you can't see differences in console and PC but for a trained eye the difference is obvious. Also, With a good sound card, you can add 3d effects and bass booms with the equalizer to make it sound more realistic. I know from experience of having a top-notch PC and playing on consoles with friends, and obviously you don't play on a good PC. So don't talk about how they are the same when you haven't seen the best PC has to offer.

  • @casey12141 Are you serious? You can buy an incredible PC for under 1000 bucks? Wich planet do you live? From where i come from, a good video card costs $2500, the only way you could make that trade is if you were willing to download off from piratebay. PC fanboys...

  • @danielkronos I don't know whether or not this is serious.....which is really sad, actually.

  • @casey12141 Yes, this is serious, unless of course prices in the USA are that low,i dont buy games for PC anymore because it ends up being a waste of fucking money, putting aside the tons of hackers on multiplayer games, you have DRM bullshit in wich you can only install a game 3 times, Steam, in wich you need to have constant internet connection to be able to install a game, SecuROM, oh, and lets not forget the fact you have to upgrade your PC every 2 years when you can play a console for 6.

  • @danielkronos Considering I JUST said what the price was, yes, obviously the prices in America are that low. Hackers aren't a problem, they are over-exaggerated and when you find one, you just report him and move on. DRM isn't a problem unless you are a pirate; you can register your copy to install it on up to 7 computers most of the time. Internet connection isn't really a problem, and not many games require Steam. Same goes with DRM really. It's more like 3 years, and for a better experience

  • @imallfordabulls lmfao not in my country we dont have dollars

  • @imallfordabulls True!

    I got my,6core 3Ghz,8gig ram,GTX 460 on windows 7 32bit all ram functional under 900$.

I hear some kids saying Consoles are better,HA!

They think they buy a console cheap but they need the necessities for it two,Xbox or PS is about 299,+ external HD that’s 150$ + controlees, you need 2 and that’s 100$ easy + other accessories that is another 100$ so all together it’s close to 650 without the screen.

  • @FlyingRayzorBlade : ur 32 but os can't use ur all ram! LOL

  • @mafiulrobin I know that, but that’s what makes my PC even more special.

You can twik your Windows 32 to actually use your entire ram without any ram out of action.

I think it’s from Bios, I don’t remember exactly how he did it but you can fool the OS and use more than the limit.

The OS was made to sell the 64 bit to gamers.

I know the OS limits your ram to 3 if it is 32 bit, I don’t know the details on how exactly to do it, but trust me all my 8 gigs are fully running on my 32 bit’s.

  • @imallfordabulls Nah dude if you want to play like crysis 2 with all maxed out, you will need to have like $ 1500- $ 2000

  • @imallfordabulls By 'build yourself' do you literally mean build it yourself, like at home?

Because I don't know how to build a computer...

  • @prokentsful Well you gotta learn some than...

  • @prokentsful Yep. It's really not that hard, and there's plenty of "how to do its" on the web. You just need to buy some basic components, have some OS software, and you're up and running!

  • @imallfordabulls you can build a pc for 600 bucks to play crysis full max settings on 1080p res !

  • @imallfordabulls not a nasty but a good

  • Seriously.

  • Why cant anyother engines be this cool

  • @bringingbettergaming the people who made cryengine 3 found a strand of Chuck Norris's hair, decoded the DNA, opened Adobe Flash, and just started typing in his DNA code (e.g. ATAGCTCCGAGAGT, etc.) and this came out. Yea, that's right, this is Adobe Flash.

  • Word of warcraft in this engine would be sick.

  • Uncharted 2 isn't even close to Crysis 1, let alone Crysis 2.

  • i want far cry 3 with ce3

  • Crysis was one of the few games i regret buying, other than a fancy engine gameplay was pedestrian and solidly average, nowhere near worthy of the hype hurricane that preceded it. Crytec need to stop salivating over shadows and reflections.

  • @edgemanAu

Its just a premium game which needs a premium computer. Nothing to regret.

  • i hope KZ3 will beat crysis 2/ cryengine 3 now most of u will say that cryengine 3 will own but maybe not if only GG made a graphics, lighting and physics trailer and the lighting and the physics part in real-time then we can see witch is going to be better but maybe crysis 2 will beat KZ3 if so well kz3 will still be 1 of the best games/engines known. oh and i mean crysis 2 on the ps3 NOT PC!!!

  • @enzo12ify1 Killzone used, and uses a partially pre-baked lighting system that can't change in real time like the on in Cryengine, but it needs less resources to run because of that. Cryengine does everything in real time, but needs more resources because of it. Real time effects are far more flexible and dynamic, but consoles have only so much power. Its a trade off. Don't judge the game engine by a game made on it, as another dev could make something better with the same tools sometimes.

  • Bravo!

  • OMMFG= Oh My Motha Fucking God

  • superb

  • @PoppyBWclkcrc

    good for them

  • Comment removed

  • @PoppyBWclkcrc no doubt lol
