This is the "Cave Club Remix" (or is it the Mashup?). It's on G Tom Mac's "Thou Shalt Not" LP which i found online a few years ago. Pretty solid album. It Does have a few versions of "Cry Little Sister" including the original, but several of the other original songs hold up well too. Hard to deny it wasn't an effort to cash in on his one monster-huge-mega-goth-song, but when you have a legendary song under your belt, i say use it. he hasn't overcooked it either (vox still best in original).

Excellent Song! This is my favorite song of all time, remembering this from 23 years ago when I watched The Lost Boys when I was 4 years old. I'm actually using this song in one of my videos. This is one of them song's that cant really be explained by words from my point of view, perfect tone, perfect pitch, perfect words..... just perfect! I listen to this from time to time because it reminds me of the past when I was a little child, brings back a lot of old memories :)

I just discovered tonight ALL the different covers and versions of this song on the internet. Your updated version is my favorite. Saw the Lost Boys on VH1 last night. Hadn't seen it since the early 90's when I was a young teen. When I heard the chorus "thou shall not fall..." after all these years, a chill went down my spine and a wave of nostalgia set in! Glad I could finally track this song down. GTomMac you are a genius! But it was through watching The Lost Boys. And the song and the film just go hand-in-hand. I hear the song, I think of the film. I watch the film, I think of (and hear) the song. GENIUS..but there are truly no words that can do this song justice. The movie was amazing but the song added is what I feel truly made the movie phenomenal. I played the song for my son when he was born, as a sort of a lullaby, he is almost 3 now and he still recognizes the tune. So the lyrics have a deeper meaning to me than just a movie score.

This song is truly a classic in it's own right. Although synonymous with The Lost Boys, it stands alone as it's own entity. From the creepy and melodic tones to the beautifully written lyrics, Cry Little Sister moves you in ways most songs from that decade fail to do.

After hearing the song in the film, you really can't imagine a greater theme song. Such a wonderful and artistic piece of music. The great thing is, it was written from the script. That's amazing.

I 1st saw the movie while in college in '87, and the soundtrack was so perfect, so mood setting that I think without it the movie wouldn't have been quite as good. I hate to say it being a loyal "Lost" fan, but the ONLY good thing about the so-called sequel was G Tom Mac's new twist on his song. Neither version will ever be dated, and thanks to his True Blood inspried bluesy version he will attract an even broader range of fans.
