  • @hollywood48237 and yet she accomplished more than you, your ancestors, and your descendants ever have or will accomplish. Pretty impressive for an "average broad". If you don't like something, why watch it?

  • well this song and this ladys voice are amazing, I'm 19 and it still appeals to me. I dance to it all the time, gives me a good groove going

  • Why did the conductor end the music when Michael was just getting going? He could've signaled to repeat more bars. Boo!

  • I WANNA SEE MORE OF THIS FANTASTIC SHOW!!!!!!

  • This is forever my jam!

  • These guys were Vogue-ing in 1979!!!!

    =P

  • Love the song, but Diana Ross's bodywork was fit back then....

  • Still got a Hangover,I hope i wiil survive

  • never liked her voice, but i loved it on this song

  • I cant see what the hype is about. Shes shaped like a mealworm and looks like any average broad would in that shinny sparkle crap. Her posture is even weird. I'd rather listen then watch ya Diana. Thanks for the music.

  • @hollywood48237 so tell us who was more glamorous than diana at this point in time?

  • Sublime!

    Diana Ross is amazing! WOW!

We need new albums, singles, videos, concerts and films from her :-)

  • i love diana!!!!!!

  • the dancers are dancing to "beyond the clouds" , a disco song originally recorded by Quartz. the orchestra is doing a fast tempo cover of it.

  • I really need to find this show on DVD...The second dancer who comes out is one of my best friends Andrew Frank aka Paris who passed away in 1998.Anyone know where I may find it?

  • @david2407 Amazon.com should have it.

  • This that thang you here me

  • No disrespect to the dancers, but I lost interest after Diana left the stage. It would have been cool if, it would have just been Diana alone.

  • (I'm gay, so please don't interprete the next comment as bigoted, but.....) these faggy dancers are hilarious. Make that money, y'all!

  • @manboobbear Its jazz dancers for C** sake :) hahah we want them doing cab calloway, Fred Asatair etc.. the more gay the better.. and im saying this not beeing gay. but Vegas dancing at that time is all about showing your gayness. :)

  • @crazycutz correct...this was a time when gayness was really becoming visible. 1970's the era of coming out, not hiding it away. discos were full of gay people and 'gayness'. voguing was starting in gay clubs in new york. it was a remarkable time where people truly started to blend in. diana had her finger on the pulse at this time.

  • Its fucked up how the male dancers were sooo gay in them suits ! But Diana was real TALENT. Real LIVE Vocals & Dancing ? Beyonce was influenced by Diana because of her Mother Tina. Thats why Destiny's Child was glamorous & sexy classy-ish lol BUt Bey combined the two singing and dancing so , why Didn't BET Schedule her to do her Lifetime Achievement Tribute ? Eryykah DID ill it BUT Beyonce should have did 1 too ! Love Diana and the doors she borke down for us soul sistas ! Lolll

  • Her singing is so amazing and cool the first minute , still however could do without the dancers LOL

  • The sexiest and non sluttiest catsuit.

  • SEXY!!! love her xxxx

  • Wow, check out the breakdancing at the end. I wouldn't have expected such a notorious diva like Diana Ross to hand the stage over to her backup dancers, but she did and they did an excellent job.

  • i gratitude up to this view...

  • W would love this

  • she made the cutest luh face at 0:51.

  • I love this and her

  • So '80 outfiti!!!

  • A GOOD SONG IT A CLASSIC

  • LOVE LOVE Diana Ross

  • Absolutely HORRENDOUS lighting for Ceasers... I'm shocked that they let this go on like that!!!

  • @liteman500k

True but don't forget that was back in the disco days where the lighting was always dim. But, no matter what the lighting Ms.Ross can light up ANY stage!

  • Thank you Di.

  • I SAW THIS WHEN I WAS LITTLE I STILL REMEMBER

  • HAHA the dancing was real lame. No wonder MJ had such a great impact, everything else was lame ^^

  • people forgot, this is the baddest of the bad babes.

  • This song blew my mind when I listened to it on an old 33 1/3, or a 45, I don't know, I'm not sure, when it went from slow to fast around 1:03, I love build ups in songs, is there a name for that? When it sounds like two songs and it's just one epic song?

  • awesome Thank you ~ Thrilling Amazing Dancers ~ Sunshine Smiles ~ :) ~ Namaste ~ Love & light :)

  • l GOTTA HAVE MORE VIBRA-SLAP!!!!!!!!!!

  • @battonpending lol and wheres the cowbell!!

  • Man she's beautiful & gorgeous

  • Diana is so extraordinary in the performance! Love her!

  • Omg this is why i continue to and will forever love Ms Ross

  • OMG what a classy sex pot and a hell of a singer!

  • What a sensual song!!!

  • Ross is always class......The guys here are a bit too Fem, but I guess its all in fun

  • Wow another classic, tune too

  • Look up Diva in the dictionary and you will see Diana's pic next to it. She is the lady who created the word.

  • My feelings this morning exactly. I don't know if I can love Ms. Ross any more than I do...

  • Diana Ross - Love Hangover ... I LOVE THIS SONG !!!!

  • Diana is such a class act.

  • This is EXACTLY where it is at!! Classy, Sexy and Wonderful...

  • <3 ^_^

  • THIS IS MY ISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SANNNNGGGGG DIANA SANNNNGGGG *Throws hands in the air*

  • Ms. Ross is a TRUE DIVA. And I'm so okay with that. She's earned it!

  • this song was and still IS the shit....i Lovvvveeee you...i got the sweetest hangover...i said this after i drank wild irish rose back in the day....haha

  • live, this version is the best.

  • you can find rare disco songs on my blog : search "Disco chez Julian" on google !!

  • A ground breaking tune from 1976. Amazing. Diana Ross-legend!

  • OMG was that JOSE?

  • @TheSanctifiedSoldier at 2:22 that looked Jose Extravaganza from NY...He was a dancer on Madonna's Blond Ambition tour...He choreographed Vogue

  • @TheSanctifiedSoldier i think ur right

  • i wish we still had stars like this today- stars with class

  • wow wow wow so very, good disco indeed

  • The original version is a 10 min. DISCO classic. This started off so awesome, but then sank into tacky 70's Vegas revue. Bummer; guess Diva Diana needed time for a wardrobe change.

  • Her intro to this song, is like silk.

  • what in the hell were the guys in the white suits doing having seizures?

  • @Cut3gyrl4lyfe it's what jazz dancing used to be

  • @mabdancer oh

  • @Cut3gyrl4lyfe especially the last guy

  • Bought this when it first came out hott...

  • sexy Diana

  • is there a cure for this

  • this is my fav concert of hers! i cant seem to find it on dvd. where did u get this?

  • I bought my copy at Amazon. It has a black cover with white writing. It's the complete concert, with connecting stage patter, etc. My uploads of the concert come from the DVD I purchased there.

  • Back when Diana Ross never failed to nail it. Never.

  • i love the outfit it is so fly.

  • wow, good dancing to good music!

  • Glamourous and sexy without being a slut. Priceless.

  • @davettalashley very funny comment you make laugh!!! :-D and you are absolutely right too.

  • @davettalashley you don't call sleeping with your boss to get top billing being a slut? I do.

  • @BernardProfitendieu They mean while doin' a performance. Not the other stuff.

  • @BernardProfitendieu so the fact that men sleep with all those people and have sluts all around them in their film clips is ok with you? or you have double standards? this woman here is brilliant. she was destined to make it in whatever she did...slut or not.

  • @davettalashley sultry

  • @davettalashley you are so right these were good models back then sexy and showed skin in the right way

  • yeah - f*cking awesome tune.... but WHO IS THE C*NT ON THE VIBRASLAP?!?!?! <<< OR THE BLOODY ENGINEER for not KILLING IT a bit in the mix!! - CLASSIC TUNE THHOUGH

  • Seen like gay guys have always been a part of her music acts.

  • Are you sure this isn't from SCTV?

  • No, this is from an appearance she did in 1979 at Ceasar's Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, broadcast by HBO on cable TV

  • I love Diana Ross... She is beautiful and classy and just amazing.

God bless her. Her music and shows comfort me so much.

  • Diana was looking thick damn!

  • I love the song until it speeds up.

  • I've always thought the SAME THING!! I'm glad I'm not the only one. The song is so beautiful and sexy when it's slow, then when the disco crap starts, it sucks. So I always listen to the extended version so I can hear more of the slow section and then as soon as the disco starts, I go back to the beginning.

  • sorry that disco "crap" is legendary, and BRILLIANT

  • LMAO! I love when people give a "thumbs down" whenever someone SLIGHTLY disagrees with them. Pathetic. I guess if you don't kiss ass to the max and dare mention something you don't like then people get bitchy. And if you bothered to read my whole comment, you'll see that I really like the slow part of the song, just not the second part. So grow up. I won't give you a thumbs down because I know how to act like an adult.

  • Yep I agree. Better and more sexy when it's slow.

  • Oh you better watch out, the Ross-fanatics will give you a million thumbs down for speaking your mind. But I gave you a thumbs up :)

  • @ SoXfused........LOL!! You're right I betta watch my back on this one! Actually when it gains speed its not bad for people that really love disco. In my opinion they could have made two seperate songs from this one because the disco part does have a good sound. I just dont enjoy them incooperated. Same thing with Donna Summer's, Last Dance in my opinion.

  • Duh... they ARE two different songs. The "disco part" is Beyond The Clouds by Quartz.

  • @chokedBazooka.... STFU and dont speak until I address your stupid azz! Move over and stay the fuck out of my lane. Speaking of stupid who the fuck still use the word "Duh"? LOL! If u have something more to add u better tell it 2 Diana, bitch and dont u ever in you sorry ass life get the nerve to come for me! You better fall your Chokedbazooka ass back b4 I go all out then you'll really have something 2 debate, clown. Unlike the song, you'll want a cure for the hangover I put on yo fool ass!

  • Wow... it's alright, you gonna be ok. Not in that lifetime probably anymore, since you're 41 already and still acting like an immature angry kid - no, most of the kids have better manners and wittier jokes, but you gonna be ok. Somewhen.

  • Damn, I 4got about the new asshole that I ridpped you. LMFAO> You cant come at me on these words Bitch. Y would you even respond!!Some people just love to keep bending over. Thats okay cause most bazookas like being choked!!But let me get down on your level. Now how do you say it? "Duh", right ? GTFOH. Here's how u get me 2 respond back to your corny ass----- either get a ghost writer or go over to the disney channel, Hoe!!

  • @44joints LOL!

  • @ dustinerney........She just made me go there!! I was having a normal conversation with Soxfused, then she buts in with this "duh" shit! I try not to stoop that low cause it is childish but sometimes it's just unavoidable. But that was light weight tho !!! LOL

  • is that fat dancer from what's happening?

  • This is the one song that makes me want to DO IT with whatever hot person is on the dance floor. Hands down, every time!

  • i think you will find that gay shit is called "padding". That's so we can go off stage and, shall we say, "rest".

  • Great in te beginning....gay as shit at the end.

  • wow...thats weird, Im watchin this and its exactley thirty years later from this month.

  • Hey barbaraboi,

I know what you're feelin'...it is weird...30 years! It just shows how timeless and classic DR is!! True entertainment never gets old. Peace.

  • I agree 100% !!!

  • This has always been one of my fave songs (that is until it speeds up" then I don't like it anymore. Why couldnt the entire song be like the beginning?

  • You guys should shut up. This song is part of my youth. i was young drinking, women ,hangovers and being youing when thissong came out.Thanksfor the memories-Frankie of Boston!!

  • You're such a jackass.

  • What's that irritating noise?!

  • I hate that... They used that effect in a lot of late 70s and early 80s songs. Its usually a lot more subtle. Its too loud here.

  • It was called a 'vibra-slap' back in my high school days.'

  • GO Diana!

  • she is.

  • Please.. The so called "flamers" is why Diana is LEGEND right now. Without them, she would have been long forgotten.

  • homophobe get lost

  • Whatever.

  • it takes all types in this world...even you. we flamers could do without you homophobic cunts.

  • WOW.........Pure CLASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is pure sex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @bigga1975

    You're right, bro.

    Greetings from Italy.

  • This song stopped me in my tracks when I first heard it. This is the character of a great song. You hear it for the first time and when it's finished you want more. The original is astounding.

  • classical ish!

  • Diana's really great :) This song is greaaat!

  • The customs looks so..so especially customized great those days. Some artist 2day looks so casual sometimes.

  • Diana looks so beautiful!

  • I once drew a color-penciled comic strip,of the Supremes - where I got in a time machine,to 1964,and married Flo; what a strip it was.I was her Honey Boy!

  • I think the only thing Diana can be accused of is being overly ambitious-which in this business can be a good thing,as far as her voice-its a lot better than some of today's wannabe divas! and she also has some acting ability so i say-keep on Diana you're still in the game after all this time so you must be doing something right!

  • Diana's dancers vogue in this performance.

(i wonder if madonna ever saw this...)

  • of course she did...madonna never had an original idea in her life.

  • how did u come to this foolish conclusion??

  • hello, her early career fashion choices becoming one of the fashion fads of the 80s? with her monumental performance at the first mtv awards? the fact that shes the biggest selling female artist ever? that is quite original. i presume diana has been original things in her life? i guess, spending her 70s being one of the first 'style over substance' artists and spending the 80s trying to be half her age and putting out crap records? that is original. regardless of what, they're both legends.

  • that they are....have a great week.

  • Diana Ross sure screwed up her career and that of her lifelong friends Flo and Mary. Both Flo and Mary were as good lead singers as Diana but through Diana's ambition and Berry Gordy's machinations Flo was forced out and Mary was pushed into the background. Then Diana left the Supremes and both the group and her single career were nothing compared to the Supremes which she and Berry ruined.

  • How many times are we going to hear the same tired cliches about how cold, heartless, ambitious Diana screwed poor Mary and Flo. It's show business. And it's over. Flo s dead. Diana and Mary moved on. Why don't you? I'd hardly say that Diana "screwed up her career." And if you think that Mary and Flo were as good lead singers as Diana, you simply know nothing about what makes a great pop singer. It's a distinctive sound that no one else has. Diana has that. Flo didn't. Mary doesn't. Period.

  • I guess I will decide when I get over it BluesRob. And it seems you haven't moved on yet either since you feel compelled to answer me. My suggestion to you is "move on."

  • MrPerod--you make a fair point. I stand by my opinion but is in the end just my opinion. And I appreciate the passion in your argument.

  • In what alternate universe did she ruin her career? Stop smoking the crack.

  • Ghetto Boys- The Other level 1991

Monica The First Night 1997 and many more has sampled this song

  • Someone was getting real happy with that whirring percussion-thing in the intro! If the band slowed the tempo, those dancers could've VOGUED like they probably wanted to! Vegas, though :/

  • How many times has this been sampled?

  • i know bone did a good diss track off this.

  • I like this song but the first minute is just pure perfection. True Diva!

  • True diva that she is. You gotta respect her.

  • I never thought Diana Ross to have a "great voice" but here sounds amazing! This entire show is incredible!

  • diana was always considered to have a remarkable voice until 10yrs ago when it started being said that she wasn't a good singer.... a rewrite of musical history. these clips show that she was indeed a fantastic singer throughout her long career.

  • you are so right on point here...diana proved herself many times as a singer but since those couple of books in the 80's and early 90's they were so effective in wrecking her reputation. when the knives came out and the rewriting of musical history to enhance certain other members of her former group began, the haters jumped quickly and severely...

  • Thank u

  • Amazing! it's so interesting to see the early days of Waacking@!

  • Sexual!

  • Magnificent intro with Diana, but as soon as the bloke comes on it destroys the whole song

  • this is....totally insane... amazing..

  • The self serving critics are at it again I see. Neophytes of musical and entertainment iconography. I dig Frank too but Diana holds a class all of her own as well. Appreciate what's posted or go away.

  • the sudio version of this tune is a magical top 40/dance tune from the 70's with an amazing bass trance, vocal groove in the middle..This video is horrible
