I had the good fortune to hear John Williams conducting this in the barbican in london with the LSO before the film was released. pleased it's still popular
This is an electronic orchestra. I've played this live with a real orchestra, it's so much more beautiful & moving that way. Soundtrack music is rarely so powerful, this was beautifully written.
I am reading this book in my English class. I love it.. so sad :( but happy ending. I'd love to see what happens to Frank in America! :) Well, I know he becomes a writer but.. :P
Hey, Could you maybe tell me the name of this song??? Cause I REALLY like it, but I can't find it or download it... Maybe you can also tell me where I can find the text for the piano, so I can play it on my piano...
Oh thats really interesting:) The thing I like about it is its beauty is not so overt, like say the theme to braveheart. It is complex and must be listened to many times before one can truely appreciate it.
Ohh I loved so much this movie...

It's really interesting to hear the original version of this song, I'm so used to hearing the arranged version that I played!
Both versions are very beautiful <3
I posted my performance as a video response, so you can check out that version~

Perhaps one of the most beautiful songs in the world. It just really tugs at your heart and takes you away from reality.
I'm so lucky to have had a chance to have played this piece in an orchestra. :)

I've listened to this song like a million times already. xD I was so obsessed with the song when I first heard it.
It never gets tiring for me. ^_^

Any chance we could hear you playing it? Would make an excellent video reponse, even if just as a solo piece.:)
