  • I have autism too

  • absolutely excellent..thank you

  • teach kids how to communicate..... they don't have a deficit in reading, or math, or sorting, or matching, or finishing "pointless tasks".... they neeed to learn how to communicate. forget TEACCH...... we need to help them communicate and do VBA. make them have behaviors and teach them how to self-monitor.

  • I'm getting depressed seeing Ur lovely, well organised classroom.Try having that in a mainstream school reception class:IMPOSSIBLE!!so frustrating!I'm doing TEACCH,PECS,social stories, visual timetables/sequences,sensory work, work with ABA therapist, speech therapist,OT,obsevation notes, profile assesment,home-school communication books ...etc an awful lot of work 4 just 1 boy. When U go through the door the only thing U want is forgetting about how hard and draining the day was or U won't go back.

  • This was great...I think my son is in the wrong class currently, and he needs to go back to a structured environment conducive for learning.

  • It was very helpful seeing how you set up their room. I have 3 of my kids who could benefit from TEACCH although they don't have autism. Thanks for the video :)

  • @k4evans1 Thank you for the kind words! TEACCH is pretty cool. If you ever have a chance to take a training, go for it! ;)
