@GriffinHelpers engine goes from a 2.5L to a 2.8L by expanding the cylinder heads. at least i believe the RB26 is a 2.5 some one correct me if i'm wrong

@GriffinHelpers yeah well when the cylinder head is bored out i.e made bigger it allows the sound to bounce off the walls of the cylinders differently from when it was smaller allowing for a deeper throat'ier sound. that pared with some new headers, exaust and some other small tweaks creates the sound. i want to know exactly what those specs are because i've heard other 2.8L stroked out RB26 motors and they differ from this one. if anyone knows the specs let me know?

@skylineGTRB you don't bore out cylinder heads. If anything you sometimes mill cylinder heads to reduce the chamber volume and increase compression. You either bore the block or stroke it to increase displacement. The 2.8L mod is a stroker engine. This is done by using a new crankshaft that has a longer stroke than the factory crank with usually new rods and pistons to compensate for the different stroke.

BoKaum88- I know it's a GTR... Don't know the year, I just know I've been driving by it daily to work for a few years now. They also have a red 2010 GTR out in front, too. I can't remember the color (I'm thinking burgundy) but there's also an R33 that hangs out there a bit. Usually on weekends. Worth paying a visit if you're in Chicago. I've gotten a few things there for my Eclipse.
