Lets say you are struggling with a sin and you pray and ask God for help but it is slowly "going away" (ur sin) Althought theres slow progress is that considered lukewarm Christian?? Im confused I mean I really really wanna change but I sin again once in a while is that considered "lukewarm"

@333481372 What you're describing is the process called "sanctification" - Which is daily becoming more like Christ. Even Paul, who wrote most of the new testament, describes in Romans 7 how he still is faced daily with the struggle of sin. We will never reach perfection in this life, for if we did the grace of salvation would be unnecessary. It's not even about focusing on sinning less - it's about growing deeper in your relationship with God, so you will have less desire to choose sin over him

Lukewarm is a ridiculous, inapplicable allegory of the honest inconsistency that all humans struggle with. @Nephtali1981 Please forgive me if I sounded harsh or judgemental. That was not my purpose. You have a great talent, and the Lord is using you powerfully to bring glory to Him.

The song mentions "He", which I believe does refer to Jesus Christ. But, then it goes on to say: what He "felt" to forgive and make a person loved. My thought was that Christ did more than "feel". He died on the cross a brutal death, in order that we might be forgiven from sin, and made whole.
