@MrSpeckid I bought it second hand with 2 shur v60 and a wilkinson bridge for about 500€, it also had a doble mini humbucker in the bridge, but it was a very displeasant sounding pickup, so I bought a new pickguard, a shur DSV second hand, CTS pots, hi quality wires and an american pickup selector, all for about 100€, and finally, because the frets were totally worn out I spent 120 bucks on a fret change and a nut replacement at my trusty luthier, I chose extra jumbo frets. Total cost:720 bucks

@neo69hk I haven't tried the UX1 interface but I think it offers very similar features that UA-25EX. I think it depends on which use are you going to deal with. You can ever get a good sound of a cheap alesis adapter, but maybe you get undesirable noises, bad customer service, etc..

For choosing a new interface you need to pay attention to the features you actually need (Such as hi-impedance imput, phantom prepared, MIDI in-outs, number of mics. Often, expensive but dedicated preamps are...

@neo69hk ...a must but you can get a pretty decent sound of an inexpensive card, but you need to know how to dial up your modelling amps or virtual instruments.

Hope that helps, I'm not a great expert but I'm always trying to improve my recording tone.
