  • i think you should xootr and gun rather than run n gun

  • I'm goin to Germany in 6 months and I can't bring my longboard due to space so I may check one of these out

  • 2:00 thought you were about to say hiring a hooker nutn! haha

  • I've been a TNPer for a while and I can't believe I missed this video. It came up as a suggestion on the sidebar. I've been really researching push scooters for about a year. I think I'll end up with a Know-Ped by Go-Ped, but xootrs are cool too. Scooters are great. Not only will I be pushing around the neighborhood with my kids, but I plan on long distance touring around the midwest. Thanks.

  • I use my 9 year old Razor scooter. Works just as well.

  • Every time I refer to listening to music I will use the term "crakin' the tunes" .

  • not sure why i'm only just seeing this and im not sure if its serious, but good review.

  • Any techniques for drive-by Xooter shooting?

  • Why am I just seeing this??

  • Not only have you Xootrd the most, but you are also probably the only guy on a Xootr with a pistol.

  • That does look fun, but in the top ten dorkyest outfits I've seen, except the reflective ankle straps, those rock. Man I wish I didn't care what people thought of me like that. Keep up the good work.

  • 10:50 what a goon

  • Hi! I'm about to get a refurbished xootr for my son's b-day and happened across your Jacksonville, FL video. That's where I live so of course I recognized the landscape and downtown + the Main Street Bridge over the St. Johns River (flows north like the Nile). I'll have to show my son this video after he learns to ride it. Yes, you are correct - downtown Jax is a very ride-able city on the weekends. :-)

    Thanks for the video review!

  • weres his xootr bag

  • I keep coming back to this video, year after year, and it does look like fun.

  • Another thing to consider is you don't have to ride a Xootr agressively. Even light, easy peddling will get you going 2 to 3 times as fast as walking. I've commuted to work on mine several times (about 8.5 miles), and didn't have to work hard to get there relatively quickly.

  • Cool review! !

  • I thought this video was a joke at first

  • @Anheuser66 I thought it was a joke also. Mainly because it sounded so much different than other reviews in the past. It had a kind of infomercial style to it that threw me off a bit I suppose.

  • Women give me the eye when Im strollin around in my Xootr

  • check out a folding bike sometime nutn i think you would get a kick out of it dahon is a great brand little higher price, citizen is more money friendly

  • Everyone should be a little bit more like Nutn. Not giving a flip about what people think. Love the dudes on here that have the gall to rib Nutn for being an individual. Just keep following the pack and let's see where that'll take you.

  • this is too hilarious and too much second hand embarrassment

  • @nutnfancy I'll keep my touring bike, but now that I see why you chose a scooter, it makes a lot more sense than I thought it would. There are some great folding or take-apart bike options out there, too, though, which are probably worth it for someone who travels as much as you do. You should get at least a front light if you want to be seen at night. Just a nice bicycle light. ...Okay, maybe you have enough reflective stuff. Wait, do you just use your flashlight when you get caught after dark?

  • You should try a bike instead.

They make a "golf bag" that you can put your bike in for airplane trips.

    think about it.

  • Everywhere you go with that scooter, you can go with a bike. Also you get there faster and easier.

  • What the hell do you do when you have to cross unpaved terrain? A bike is a much superior option. Don't tell me nutn never learned to ride a bike...

  • @Alex4757 How often do you have to cross unpaved terrain in your city?

  • Everything about this video makes me think I'm in the 90's again. Nutnfancy, u r crazy my friend. ahaha...

  • awesome vid nutnfancy has helped me so much on a healthy outlook on life as well as great gear reviews keep up the superb work!

  • Nutnfancy is the coolest guy Ive ever seen

  • lololollololl, i couldnt do it, and just the thought that u had to go back and forth to film yourself zootering cracks me up. props 4 being yourself

  • People will laugh at him until he pulls out his Kel-Tec PF-9 and saves the day. Tactical Xootring!

  • is there something as an "off road" xooter? I live in desert area with alot of sand and could use something with some off road tires. Does such a thing exist?

  • @Psycholistic1 dont do it, mountain bike since your not travling

  • You know, a lot of people would see Nutn on his Xooter pushing along and think he was someone they could easily roll over without any idea how much of a badass he is. ( or what kinda heat he's surely packin ;)

Seriously makes you think twice before you get the itch to pick on someone.

My respect for Nutin increases with every video I watch.

His simple logic, sound advice and just overall "down to Earthness" is inspiring and my life is honestly better for it.

Thank you Nutin, keep on trucking.

  • Scotchlite reflective tape holds great. Get anti-fog sunglasses and clear anti-fog safety glasses for night riding (I carry both at all times just in case). If you have carpal tunnel/hand probs get some pipe foam insulation and shove on handles for riding on very rough roads (very cheap at Home Depot) made a HUGE difference for my numbness while riding. I keep my entire camelback full of water in fridge when I get home in anticipation of next ride so I can just go at a moment's notice! TY NUTN!!

  • The Xootr looks quickly looking.

  • have you tried the xootr roma? I would like to know your opinion on how capable the roma is for distance compared to the Mg

  • Nutn this is awesome! We just had a quake today and you should have seen the gridlock. I need to get one of these things.

  • ever tried a razor cruiser/lux or the fuzion cityglide?

  • Lol nutnfancy i love you man

  • Also, the Xootr literally weighs like 8-10 lbs max. And my model has a 300 lb weight capacity (no, I'm not 300 lbs, but I am on the husky side, so the high weight capacity is really comforting).

  • Just bought a Xootr (line in NYC). I was running late for a 10:30 train that was 15 blocks away from my apartment. I decided to take my Xootr. Left my building at 10:19 and made it to the station at exactly 10:23. Love this thing. 15 city blocks in 4 minutes. Exactly matching my time on the bike for the same distance / route. 1 block up hill, 1 block downhill, rest was flat. Am gonna use my Xootr tomorrow morning to ride 35 blocks in the city to a movie. Can't wait.

  • The Xootr looks fun but I'd really like to see more jimping.

  • NUTN GET A HANDS FREE VIDEO CAMERA IT WILL SERVE YOU WELL IN ALL YOUR VIDEO'S AND WILL BE PERFECT IN ALL YOUR POU'S....whether it's Zootering, backpacking, tabletop reviews, and it'll add a cool POV aspect to your shooting vids and they make really cool water proof one's GOPRO is a good example PLEASE FOR OUR VIEWING PLEASURE and YOUR Video taking pleasure look into getting one

THUMBS UP so either NUTN or Veri CAN SEE FELLOW TNPR"S!!!!!

  • This fellow LOVES to hear himself talk. * Sigh * What a waste of time...

  • @LeanderCat Yea and in case you haven't figured it out so do a lot of other people. GTFO. Kthxbye.

  • Just bought a xootr so that I ride around with my son. Loving this thing.

  • First i thought mid life crisis then when u started riding i was like hell that looks awesome

  • this is the first video i watched from you like 1 year ago

  • Nutn I prefer a bike. But don't let any of these douches get ya down. Keep rockin

  • @Piehash I would not call 51,958 nobody

  • wow, I thought that I had seen every nutnfancy video, then I found this one. Nice video just a different flavor from your others. It's hilarious to picture nutn in the middle of a walkway and talking to a camera completely ignoring all the weird looks from everyone around him. Happy Xootring!

  • In no way trying to knock this option....i was an avid roller blade person for years for mobility in an urban envrio....being an avid cyclist I do feel that bicycles are over looked by many persons. Course people don't understand the utilitarian bike and instead think all hardcore mtb's and multiple shocks or skinny tires and carbon fiber. A well thought out bicycle, in an urban enviro or even elsewhere is something I've always had. I've hauled my fj40's battery on a rack to change it out.

  • interesting concept but a break down bike that can be split or a folding bike like a Dahon or Bike Friday is superior....sure it's more expensive but lends great options....folding bikes in particular in a vehicle in a 'bug out situation' come in quite handy.

Xooter might work in certain aspects but sorry it's a tad ghey. Just my onhest opinion.

  • hey i have to ask what kinda job do you got that has you travel so much? i would love to have a job that has me travel to new places!

  • Great Video. I intend to buy one to ride to work instead of running, when my office location move 5 km away. I want to use it everyday in Warsaw (Poland) even if it's rainning. Is there a way to change earings for sealled ones or simply to open them and clean, grease them as I do with my K2 Rollerblades

  • ohh god i lol'd

  • So remind us again what exactly your military experience is? You never seem to get to that.... why not enlighten us all?

  • @koolaidman007 Airforce? he's said it so many times.

  • lol, i watch all your vids man you do such a great job, and clicked on this one after reading the title having no idea what it was about,at first i will admit i was even a little judgemental at the kick scooter but man you sure made me a believer after that, i love your attitude towards other people who talk shit to you man, you don't care and you shouldn't because your a cool dude. keep it up nutn.

  • it took 13 minutes for you to get on the "xootr"

  • @theemochalange ...

EXACTLY! What's the point in listening to him drone on .. and on ... and on...?

  • @proudpapa2004 And yet here you are. Thanks for the view, but if you don't like it, just GTFO. Cya. -- Veri

  • Nutn, u are the God of guns, gear, reviews, and now even a kick scooter. ^_^ I have bought so many things off your reviews so thank u so very much!

  • Smart idea usin the push scooter with these gas prices

  • I hope he has a back up 12'' edc razor scooter in his back pack in case the xootr breaks down or is disabled by gunfire.

  • Screw those trolls man, keep up the awesome work

  • DO WANT

  • Wow, i noticed quite a few people staring at him, it seems only the popular ride xootrs lol

  • His attitude to not give a damn what others think probably helped him to become a pilot. His ability to film and not care about anything but himself, wow thats ballz. Wish I could do that. Pity as of 2011 you're retired cus it'd be funny to see a guy skydive with a xootr. Keep up the good work nutnfancy, you crack me up and teach alot of life philosophies.

  • @jimmyhoffa9 I LOVE this comment. You actually "get" Nutn, and couldn't be any more correct. The things that he does may not be for everyone, but he is not a follower and never was. Thanks for watching. =) -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy +1 To an awesome comment. Does nutn still xootr or is it just not time practical?

  • Man 6 minutes in and you finally get to the product. Get to it man.

  • Comment removed

  • thats where i live!! i wish i new you were there!!

  • damn it nutnfancy why must you kill my wallet all the time lol nice vid!

  • what holster works best while xootring?

  • @paulc43 I think his favourite is a shoulder holster and he usually carries one of those keltec guns which shoot bullets (you heard). even in his 2011 edc he's still using the shoulder holster, but for xootring, whatever holster is secure and comfortable. I'd prefer a chest rig but apparently there are laws??

  • Hey! i'm from Florida!

  • I've noticed in 24:00 that the wheels are spinning for around 20 seconds.

I just bought a Xootr MG (from display) and the wheels only spin for 2-3 seconds when in the air. How can I clean them so they spin more freely?

  • omg i live in jacksonville

  • It's cool how the fork is angled back. That actually makes it more stable. Everything you describe transfers to longboarding :D

  • @JamesHaskin I just got to 27:00 lol

  • trikke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what model camelbak would u recommend?also u should try thr trikke it rocks.

  • This was an awesome video.....I like your safety first mentality. The detractors don't realize that one spill could permanently decrease your quality of life. It's just not worth it to neglect safety gear just because some random person might think it looks silly.

  • serious question: do you carry while "xootering"?

  • its actually somewhat nice of nutnfancy to share his experience with the world...

  • Why not just get a Razr? Same concept but more lightweight.

  • After the douch with his son 2 old ppl went by like wtf is up with that guy

  • incredible how ghey this channel just got.

  • @bluecollararmory We get a kick out of little guys that are entirely threatened by the fact that Nutn doesn't give a rip what they think. He just does his own thing. Someday when you grow up, maybe you will too. Thanks for the view. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • @nutnfancy

It's nutnancy, nutnfancy's sister to the rescue lol

  • @bluecollararmory Rescue? From what? A little kid who uses YouTube to put people down? As if... -- Veri

  • Very cool my friend. I too get out and have a blast on my Xootr Mg. Watch for my instructional video coming very soon to Youtube. I will explain a useful trick you can use on your Xootr to make your ride even more enjoyable. Ghey or Gay, either way, those who worry, should. The rest of us just live our lives the way we want to.......hey sorta like Jimi!

    God bless and keep kicking.

    C Painter

    53 yrs old

  • @bluecollararmory I want to see you out doin the things nutn does. 20 miles on a kick scooter! You will need a lot of training from couch sitting.

  • 10:52 that guy is a real good example for his kid.. yeah be a douche why don't you.. I hate ppl who have to be the center of attention all the freaking time..

  • I'm Longboarding and thats works good to.

  • Super Cool, thats back home for me J'ville Fl.

  • Niice, you were here in FL, that would actually be really nice to have here on the beach... There are a lot of times I'd like to head up the street for a bite to eat, but don't feel like driving, and it just takes forever walking.

  • I should have listened to you about wearing gloves...haha..first night out riding my xootr on campus ...totally wiped out...messed up my hands pretty bad...guess i learned my lesson..haha

  • YO NUTN, quick question just from straight curiosity, where is your concealed carry there man ? didn't seem like u had one . but again thats the point of " concealed " carry. but if i have one on my side while scootering it tends to just be kinda in the way, nothing i cant put up with, but i think there has to be a better way to carry while scootering , and if there is i'm sure u know it, thanks dude

  • I'm gonna grab one :-)

  • Comment removed

  • Damn I just wante to watch someone ride it

  • Haha gada love his reflective ankle bands nutns such a nerd gada love him!!!! Awesome bid goin to part 2 now!

  • Nutnfancy, I love my Xootr MG. I use it mainly to scoot with my kids when they go out on their scooters. But last week my young daughter took a nasty spill when the tiny wheels on her Razor Barbie scooter caught in a crack. I think I'm just going to give my kids Xootrs from now on. Xootrs are expensive, but cheaper than hospital visits.

You said you have lots of Xootrs? Do you have the Xootr Street. I'd be interested to hear how it compares to the MG.

  • Dude...if someone hasn't mentioned it ...buy a helmet cam..it will be safer

  • i actually know the guy that designed these. he also has a line of folding bikes. they work great. the scooters arent for me...but the bikes are amazing i actually have a custom built single speed that has lasted me 3years so far

  • Nutn, great video. I don't live my life by what others may think either. One question. Why don't you raise the bars for downhill work? Takes one second and greatly reduces your chance for a header.

  • very through...you should do more gear reviews like this instead of just guns..;)...i loved the camping series btw

  • dude, you should be in infomercials. I'd buy anything you endorse. :D

  • awesome video, made me wanna buy one.

    keep it up!

  • Ok watched teh full video.

What knee pads, reflective ankle strap and camelbak reflective triangle, and gloves do you use.

What reflective tape are you using.

I live in Dallas Tx and as a college student I dont get out much. I am inspired so any help in getting gear that is going to last will help. Your gear looked great and thinking about making a similar setup. lol. What can I say Nutn, you make it seem so easy to get out and "play".

    thanks for the vid

  • ROFLMAO : "Seek therapy. I think they have therapy that can get you past that"

Rock on Nutn. You do your own thing, regardless of how others see it. I just have images of xootering during WROL.

Thanks for the cool vid. I think i might "by the son one". Of course then I will have to "show him how to use it" tehehehe.

  • Great video. Thanks Nutn! I am thinking of getting their "street" version with machined aluminum deck for more durability. What you do think - is that worth the extra weight?

  • Inline skates, throwback to the 90's!

  • LOL. that guy in the background with his kid. I was born in Jacksonville, haven't been back in forever.

  • people can say whatever they want about this guy but you can tell he has a lot of self respect and doesn't care what others think. that's the way to live imo. live for yourself and waht makes you happy... good vid

  • nutn? i thought this was a joke :|

  • Tactical Tony Hawk ;)

  • I keep saying it, Nutnfancy, when are you going to Duracoat the Xootr? We need Tactical Coyote Brown Xootr's in the Sledgehammer!

  • @HawaiiIceMan I seriously have been wanting to do a xooter and gun, but i havent found anywhere safe to do it, lol

  • im the son of one of the owners of xootr and the future holder of the company when i was younger xootrs were my passion they are the most high quality scooters you could ever use. Now I skate but these are great for transportation.

  • 5X walking speed, average walker moves at 15 mph, which is also the average speed of the decent bicyclist. Personally I can maintain 20 without much effort, and I'm not exactly the slimmest fellow. I'd rather have a bicycle, even considering the sheer simplicity of any scooter, but maybe that's just me. I carry more cargo, go faster then any walker, wipe out only 1/8 of the time, and can cover more types of terrain. Anyone have arguments for a scooter vs a bike?

  • @BrazenAiRonyoSigilos *edit Average walker moves at 3mph, sorry about the typo

  • Dying on a scooter would be a horrible and embarrassing way to die especially if it was covered by the media.

  • I think I'd maybe try a little crazy glue in the tire cracks.?....

  • great opening soundtrack!

  • you should go to shooters gun shop there its amazing

  • @a1ferrer Back to your Lady GaGa videos, lil guy. -- Veri

  • @a1ferrer wanna see you move this fast on your Dunks Mr Hip Hopper

  • @a1ferrer what does this even mean?!!?

  • LOL the guy at the background, you're cool, i have a scooter and i ride them to school, i don't know why these skateboarder kids at my school keep calling me gay. i love my scooter, i'm planning on getting a xootr street cuz my razor is too small and more for tricks.

  • thanks for the prompt responce , and by the way you remind me aot of my older brother. he was ex military and worked for swatt. he'd also formed his own socurity firm in Montgomery Al. he had also volunteered work at the Kitrina aftermath. an NRA member and pround weopons collector. he KIA jan 9 from a gunfight while on Duty. he never thought itd happen to him. PRACTICE DODGING more so than shooting. one love.

  • You are an all around Cool Guy , and you video is so preffessional ive watxhed it even after i Purchased My New Xootr street. Ive got a question for you though , being a fellow Gear Head you know how we like upgrading. are there better beaarings for these (even thought these are great) but is there better?

  • @hemigod2 Nutn says he has tried others, but actually likes the factory bearings best. -- Veri

  • i wonder what music hes listening to... leppelin? ACDC? nutn strikes me as a classic rock guy

  • I'm glad you have this video because people think Im crazy for riding my Xootr around NYC, they just don't understand...

  • hey nutnfancy what model of xootr that you own would you recommend excluding the MG

  • American Hunting & Sporting Forum

    Giuen Outright Google Groups

  • thanks for the review nutnfancy

I have a chronic and pretty sever hip defect called a Slip capital femoral epiphysis, as a result I haven't been able to run in over 7 years. However my razor kick scootor helped me get around even faster than a jogger. the razor scooter is alright, it's more compact and they have a lot of fancy features that I don't see on the xootr, however it's only big enough to rest one foot on and they have horribly tiny wheels, and for that reason I'm considering this xootr

  • @iknowmy3table From what I understand, Table...they have amazing customer service. You might consider giving Xootr a call to talk to them about your limitations and see what they say about how their products might be helpful accomodating you. Just an idea. -- Veri

  • hey i have that shirt lol

  • Interesting, but I still prefer my longboard... Which I need to get another one...

  • Hey Nutfancy, I really appreciate the review/video. I have a question. I live on campus at my university and need a quick way of getting around while still being able to go up stairs and across street curbs as easily as I do with I'm on my legs. My commute is only about 3 miles a day back and forth. Would you recommend the Xootr for something like that--or a less extreme model?

  • At first I thought "What the h is going on? Why isn't this about some kind of weapon?!" but actually it's pretty cool. I like bikes instead though - much faster. You don't travel with them. You rent them at your destination. I do the same with skis/snowboards. Don't need the hassle of traveling with them, and you always have the latest model.

  • i could 180 that curb...i love scootering, not a xootr but i have an upgraded original razor that i play around with.

  • You should also try a Trikke, they are fun to ride, I recommend a T8.

  • I like to ride the razor pro scooters, I do tricks and stunts on them, I also skateboards, longboards, and ride bmx. Xootrs are neat but you can't do tricks on them. Tell your army buddies that if they don't want to be seen riding something they want to ride, just do it any way, who cares about other people, the hell with them, do what you want, I ride a unicycle around sometimes and people think its strange but who cares.

  • his ideas are pretty out there but great review

  • Fantastic intro music!

  • I bought one of these. I called over to xootr. the person that answered the phone extremely helpful. Something i was not aware of. Some times they get returns that are like new, open box or refurbished and they will sell at a discount. I was tempted to take the offer on a slightly used venus but opted for a new MG instead. We already have a micro and love that. Xootr has some interesting qualities. Cant deciede which I prefer. they are both great machines.

  • @neuregel Some times they get returns that are like new, open box or refurbished and they will sell at a discount." Great tip, thanks!

  • Good vid. I used a Razor in a plant I used to work in. I got lots of comments from the boys, but time is money. Can't wait to get a big wheel Xootr version.

  • what kind of garmin gps does nutn have? is that the garmin rhino?

i think he should do a review on that it would be great.

    great video though.

  • lol, now he's quoting himself

  • I am secure enough to be seen on a scooter wearing an orange shirt, gloves, and a helmet. I just would never choose to do that...

  • Nutn, I love you, man. Your my hero. For reals, I get more of my views on life from you than my own parents!

Be safe out there, my friend.

  • Bro - love your video review! People use to bag on me (incl my wife) for scootering around all over with my kids Razors! Then I finally found a used Micro that was closer to actually fitting an adult. Once my friends and wife tried it they started to see what they were missing! Just last week I discovered Xootr and immediately ordered an Ultra Cruz! My wife made me promise that my old scooter would go to her when my new one comes! You're right - people should knock what they haven't tried.

  • how does this compare to the razor a5 lux? i want to try it but is a bit pricey for me

  • I got a similar scooter, dough not a Xootr. I do around 20 km with it a day.

  • Comment removed

  • You're a bloody legend Nutn. Inspired me to get off my butt and blow the redback spiders off my mountain bike. Probably safer for me than something unfamiliar with small wheels, I have fallen off motorbikes too often in the past and don't bounce real well anymore. Keep on Shooting and scootering.

  • i'm more of a rollerblade guy... pending a test of the new skorpion off-road skates though to handle more of the crunchy terrain...

  • @sonick808 thanks for reposting that, sonick! =) -- Veri

  • lol no worries.... I saw your post earlier on my page. With the amount of comments you have to go through I think a mistake is allowed time and again yes ? J :)

  • @sonick808 Actually, I'm really glad you reposted this cause I don't remember you mentioning the skorpion off-road skates in the original post. I am going to google those right now! --- Veri

  • Haha, I am a chronic revisionist anyway! So another crack at my comment I just added more stuff. lol. Just can't help myself. I Think you will find the skorpion skates (road poly-wheels and off-road mags) quite interesting....... If you get some, make nutn wear them and film it!

  • I bought one.... It's great. Don't knock it till you've tried it.

  • I would definitely prefer a good mountain bike for things like this. Cycling is extremely efficient in terms of building aerobic endurance and working the body's largest muscle groups, it's also extremely fun and can be done anywhere from the inner city to the Rocky Mountains.

I can understand if someone likes something like a scooter, but it's just not something I'd enjoy and it's not as efficient as a good bike. I do not fly much at all, so transporting a bike is not an issue for me.

  • good thing they didn't raise the draw bridge while he had his camera set down on the staionary side :)

  • Is this small enough / legal to take as a carry-on on a plane?

  • Nutnfancy is correct about the ball bearings. Water will kill them.

I cleaned them with water, then dried and oiled them, yet the bearings on my front wheel have died after less than 4 weeks use.

Stay away from water at any cost
