what strings that u used for this, was that the electric guitar's strings, cause i can't see the third string is like a normal accoustic guitar's strings
thanks for the vid, the rosewood version seems to define the base a little better (admittedly the vid maked it hard to tell) compared to the normal version i've been repeatedly trying out in my local shop...much nicer sound than the SJ-200 for me and actually possible to play without breaking your shoulder.
SUPER nice Gibby! I know what you mean about finding the "right" guitar. I've had lots of different brands & set-ups but I finally found my Custom J45 Vine. Gibson acoustics sound great with a lighter touch (fingerstyle) but I just wish they would offer them with a slightly wider nut width. They're still the COOLEST guitars out there!
hey man, that's awesome, i like it! and, how do you switch between pick and finger so quickly? that's so cool, where do you hold the pick when you are finger picking?
I have been told that J185's are bit higher in action yours look smooth. Tell me how they feel on bass side when unplugged. Is it really a Boom Chuck Boom thing.
i played a bunch of gibson's, taylor's and martin's and the 185 just felt the best and had the sound i was looking for. This video doesnt quite do the guitar justice!
