  • It's like he wants to make sense, but he just doesn't.

  • Dr Stenger from 4:27

  • Just skip parts 4 and 5.

  • what he's doing is talking about philosophy (which is meaningful) but claiming it's theology (which is meaningless)

  • i never knew faith was a project of solving the world's problem. i've really got to start reading the dictionary.

  • He's trying to say something.... so hard....

  • Big disappointment, this guy. So much waffle.

  • Why cant atheists dress properly? It is always the same thing, the village atheist is the one with the lousiest shirt. They talk about materialism, but are always dreaming of mathematical equations, or scientific theories, and neglect material things. What kind of materialism is that?

  • @LiberdadeHedonista WOW big time EQUIVOCATION fallacy! I'm going to copy this to use as an example for everyone. Thank you so much!

  • @eulercircles You are welcome. Actually, it is a sartorial ad hominem fallacy.

  • Aftter watching part 4 i decided to skip this one...

  • He is very interesting, it's a pity he can't seem to see that you can be a materialist and still ask and answer questions about human instincts and passions about relationships, grief, love... does he think that materialists don't understand or think about these things and so he must align himself with the mumbo jumbo of the religious to investigate it? Has he not heard of cognitive psych, evolutionary psych, neuroscience, J.S.Mill, Carl Sagan, moral philosophy in general...

  • Who cares how YOU think of "faith". The New Atheists define exactly what "faith" they are criticizing and go about criticizing it. Are you denying that the sort of "faith" atheists define doesn't exist at all just because you know some people who hold a different interpretation of the word.

You seem to have some incredible level of cognitive dissonance if you call yourself a non-supernaturalist theologian, that sounds suspiciously like sophistry.

  • 2 problems with this theologian: His characterization of the atheist critique of faith as belief in the supernatural without supporting evidence. Wrong. Faith is believing anything without evidence or despite dis-confirming evidence. The second problem: Non-supernatural god? WTF?

  • Interesting...
