  • black & blue is so underrated. Dont get me wrong, I am a huge fan of beggars banquet, let it bleed, sticky fingers, exile, etc. But this one is really underrated. it got so many beautiful songs on it. memory motel, hand of fate, fool to cry, Huge fan of crazy mama aswell :)

  • This alternative solo version is so much better !!!

  • @fondofrory What version are you referring to?

  • @AliceNchainz011 Write on youtube : Mick jagger - Memory motel ! ( solo version , with a pic of him where he looks like a cow boy :) )

  • You have some anger and self importance issues. Get some help.

  • t amo mick asi viejito y todo

  • This is my favorite Stones song. Miss You, Time Waits For No One, and Starfucker are all right behind it. They are simply the greatest band ever in existence. And no, The Beatles are not better. Sure I love The Beatles, who doesn't? They're freaking awesome. But they just can't beat The Stones.

  • @Yellow4494 i hear ya man. the beatles seem to sing about a perfect world, where as the stones seem to talk about the world we live in. i guess how it should be compared to how it is. love the stones, best band ever. may the good lord shine a light on you UP THE IRONS FROM LOUISIANA

  • i LOVE THE STONES! this was agreat video you put together. thanks so much. this song is under appreciated. i'd love to go long island to see the "memory motel".

  • great pictures

  • Nice video. A couple pictures I hadn't seen which is pretty unusual. Jagger and Richard couldn't be more different. Complete opposites. Jagger very thoughtful, conservative in his approach, more organized and taciturn. Keith the rocker. Much more spontaneous. More reckless.Much less structured. Both of them probably equally responsible for the success of the band although I think others contributed also. Really, Keith and Mick stopped being "mates" around 1969-1970. Been a marriage since.

  • @kentucy9999

I love how morons read a book or two about The Stones and then start spouting this know-nothing bullshit, as if others haven't read those same books, and as if those books necessarily got it right. Celebrities have a good laugh when they read this kind of shit.

  • @TheLovelyMC LOL.

  • its a cool spot to see in montauk. i've walked by it a few years back, just had to. had this song playing in my car. was a very cool moment.

  • 5:46 can anyone tell me where that motel is? I wanna stay there!

  • @Yellow4494

it's way out on the eastern tip of Long island, NY (Montauk, to be exact!)

  • @lewisemanuel1946 Oh thanks. I love New York and I'd love to stay there some day though I probably never will get the chance lol

  • Worried About You,Rocks!!

  • for me the best song they ever made...

  • @xNaomixGCx I agree. This and Worried About You (in my opinion). There are so many though.

  • @Yellow4494 yes there are. if i have to write down all my favourite songs by the rolling stones, it would take about 3 days, LOL.

  • @xNaomixGCx lol same here. And if I had to list all the songs that exist by them that I know of it would take about 7 days xp

  • i have been living in that world since the mid-sixties... what a blessing

  • i was just at this actual motel in montauk long island, most beautiful place ever!

  • You are just memory.

  • ... lots of memories taking you away to good old days...

  • A great song! When in concert, Keith Richards often sings part of the song, usually a little solo part.. leads me to believe that this is a song that is more songwritten by Richards than Jagger. I'd sure like to be able to tell which Stones songs are nearly (or completely) written by one or the other of the Jagger/Richards songs. Same curiosity of the Beatles Lennon/McCartney songs.

Anybody know how I can find some of those answers?

  • @4rainbowed Great observation! I'd like to know too!

  • @4rainbowed

Hmmm...I wonder if it's because he sang those parts on the record, as well. Now, that would be extraordinary, wouldn't it?

  • I´m a new Rolling Stones fan, its amazing to find songs like this that are outthere! Best band ever I have been blind before :)

Simply amazing. I can keep listening to their songs.

  • @Colts0fan : Welcome my friend....!!

  • Nice video for a beauty song ;)
