i think that is still somewhat a young crayfish coz it pincher is still slim or maybe shes a female but once it undergo molting that will be replaced by a new growth...thats how they regenerate cut limbs ^_^

they can and are selectivly bred to be blue, since there is a demand for them, the Cherax quadricarinatus is the only one legal in the UK unfortunately, and it's also one of the biggest crayfish to own so in the UK you'd need a mssive tank and pleanty of hiding space for it to scurry and hid in!

For the uneducated people who just watch any random video let me inform you. Blue lobsters are a deformed version of North Atlantic lobsters. Out of every 5,000 lobsters 1 is blue. As for having one as a pet you most likely have to catch it or buy it for a very high price around 10-20,000 dollars. Scientists tried to reproduce them for study but it was almost impossible.
