  • Well this is awesome! Wish I'd seen it when you first uploaded it, could of got a first look :) and have you rode it yet? It's amazingly smooth.

  • I hate this ride to lame

  • Track drops off haha 0:29

  • @Ruzicka54 haha it doesnt, thats just how steep it is :)

  • I think helicopters are scarier than roller coasters!

  • first hill kinda looks like a wooden millennium force!

  • Wow. This makes it look HUGE.

  • I have video of the Texas Giant ON RIDE on my youtube channel

  • omg look at that drop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can you say ill be screaming like a girl even though i am one?? lol looks like fun though

  • Fantastic footage! For a wooden coaster fan like myself it is just the best possible view that I could have asked for in checking out the new Giant. Now I just have to find a way to Texas from Massachusetts to ride it. Thanks for sharing this incredible footage of this superb looking coaster reconstruction.

  • WOW! Amazing footage! and man, i just realized tonight that they had the track done and they're already testing it! WOOOOPEEEE!!!!!!!! =)

  • Man thats gonna be a beast ride

  • Looks amazing, love to ride it but I live over 3,000 miles away ;-)

  • well all except where the messed on it its supposed to went OVER the lift hill and they messed that up it wont be the same as it was that is a good vid of it tho thanks for the update...

  • only if you had stayed a while you may have gotten video of the first train running the course.

  • @traindude70 saw that.... we were just flying by after shooting Cowboy's Stadium, so didn't have any time.

  • What kind of camera ball do you have on the chopper? (or was that a handheld?)

  • @martinp13 It is a 5-axis gyro stabilized Cineflex camera ball... Ikegami 1080i HD camera, with Canon HD series 22X lens... we were just flying by after shooting Cowboy's Stadium Super Bowl set-up stuff.

  • @warner4az

So about how much does that setup run? Heh.

  • @itsthebrod A couple hundred thousand dollars for the system

  • @warner4az i thought it was an icagomi

  • @Montera15 This is from Robinson Newscopter Specs: "The five-axis gyro-stabilized camera system features a full-bandwidth Ikegami 1080i HD Camera matched with a Canon HD Series 22x (44x with extender) zoom lens for crisp images." That's what we are using, and the systems are updated regularly. In this video, we were just passing by. I got my pilot to circle once, but we had other things to get to, so not a planned artsy thing... just a quick glance.

  • @warner4az so it's a newer version ok

  • @warner4az nice pictures by the way

  • The Texas Giant looks insane now!
