I loved the Movie titled the Nativity Story,it brought tears to my eye's.But we are commanded to Keep the Sabbath's plural.Which includes the Seven Annual Holy Daysin: Passover.Days Of Unleaven Bread. Pentecost. Feast Of Trumpets.Day Of Atonement.Feast Of Tabernacles.The Last Great Day.I'm off to purchase a James Moffatt translation as Passover is approaching,have some feet to be washed.

I have been so bothered with the question of why did the visiting magi see Jesus in a house..I wondered, if it was someone they knew why did they not go there in the first place..this answers that question. So the question of whether or not the magi appeared at the manger is plausible..even if it was not the same day as the birth. Now to answer the question of why Matthew says they went to Egypt to escape Herod but Luke is specific about 1st Jerusalem and then Nazareth. Where did they go?

@SkinnyWmn69 Actually there is a reason to think that the wise men appeared not until few years after Jesus was born. We can see this by what the wise men told the King Herod, about which time the star of Jesus was first seen.. And they told Herod, that it appeared about 2 years ago. You can see this in Matthew 2:2 and 2:16. Assuming that the star of Jesus appeared at the moment of his birth.
