  • How could I possibly not heed to such a Baeutiful Soft & Tender call from Christ.. Amen

  • Awesome harmony. Beautiful!

  • Amen lamenina24

  • The greatest man in history was named Jesus. He had no servants, yet they called him Master. Had no degree, yet they called him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared him. He won no military battles, yet he conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him..... He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today. Re-post if you believe with your heart ♥ ♥ ♥

  • Im a Catholic Music Director. I was at a parish where the Pastor was formerly Baptist. he loved this song along with others. I never knew how to present this song, and such beauty it potrayed. This is soo beautiful.

  • nice blending. really touching my life. love it very much.

  • beautiful!

  • 2:32 GOOSEBUMPS!!!!

  • Precious, precious. A song for the ages, the heart cry of Christ. Come home sinner...please, come home.

  • Love the Martins sound. My only beef is that they breathe so loud. Gasping for air is not a healthy way to breathe when singing. That said, their harmonies are amazing.

  • @metanoeo1 I don't know that they're actually breathing so loud.. don't get me wrong! I could be totallly off on this, but Their mics sound really hot! It might pick up their breathing.

  • @metanoeo1 That is as a result of the mixing, not the singers. The mix is compressing the audio, which equalizes (increases the volume of) the quiet parts, and/or limits the volume of the louder parts.

  • How incredibly beautiful....calling out to all souls...

Calling for you and for me!

Let's meet at the feet of Jesus!

Wink, so I'll know you've made it home, too!

  • Woncerful!

  • is there a dvd from this program? Very nice songs

  • I cant even get them to come up.. i made a new account and everything cause it wouldnt play them... what am i doing wrong.. that i cannot view these anymore?

  • I cant even get them to come up.. i made a new account and everything cause it wouldnt play them... what am i doing wrong.. that i cannot view these anymore?

  • lol. wooops. "ssearnestly, tenderly". lol. it happens to all of us.

  • This is the best version I've ever heard!!

WOW. I was stunned, It was sooo beautiful!

  • Some Gaither videos are shot on their property in Indiana. They have a lovely store and retreat center. I believe (not 100%) that this is fashioned after a gospel sing, frequently done at Biblecamps around the country by all denominational fundamental Christian groups each summer. This was the climax of the week of Bible study and all kinds of outdoor activities as well as crafts, after which an altar call is given to invite people to come and accept Christ as Their own personal Savior. I did!

  • If this group doesn't move you, you have no heart. Their harmony is amazing. One of the best groups in gospel music.

  • I agree with you. Blessed message. By the way do you know why they are singing infront of a fire, does that have any significance?

    God bless

    Jo

  • hmmmm...very good thought. i only know that they have these homecomings where they all just get together and stuff, but i never thought of the fire!

yea, that's true!!! wow, i never thought of that!

  • Who are you to judge someones heart. If your a christian be one truly in heart and spirit.

  • As good as this clip is you should see them in person!

  • what religion are they does any 1 know?

  • Christian. The love Jesus.

  • I can't imagine anyone not being blessed by this group... just angels sent from heaven to bless our souls - simply fantastic!

  • It Makes my soul happy. Thank You

  • Actually Joyce's husband did not travel with them singing. It was a man by the name of Paul Lancaster. He now sings with the Greenes.

  • This song is what called me to come back to the Lord!!

  • beautiful song, although it's not "ye who art weary"... it's "ye who ARE weary." "art" only goes with "thou" (i.e. the singular.)

  • I was about to take you to task for your criticism, Larry11215, but then then I heard one of the singers sing "art" where she should have sung "are". That may have just been her own mistake, though. Otherwise, I concede that thou art correct. (Or as they say in German, "Du hast recht.")

  • Thank you

  • They are definately a God-given gift. HE is an Awesome God!!!

    God Bless!!

  • their brothers' back. where did he go and who was the other guy that sang with them when he 'left'

  • Joyce's husband Harrie.

  • Not at all, it was Paul Lancaster.

  • Hermoso y agrdable...........bye

  • Watching the video on TV, Bill Gaither refers to Judy as Judy Sr. Is this a southern thing? Up here in the north, I have never heard a woman refered to a Sr. if she has a daughter named for her.

  • God Bless you for posting videos like this on the web!! A tremendous blessing!

  • Acapella when done is the most moving experience ever. I have not EVER heard anyone sing acapella as well as the Martins do. I could spend all day and all night listening to them.

  • I didn't know the Martins were still singing. I love this old hymn. It's my favorite.

  • Beautiful!!

  • Praise God,all glory to him

  • That was beautiful just as he said! Thank You for this vid!
