This should be the opening song. It is better than the slow one. I remember seeing this cartoon on saturday mornings. Maybe it was cheaply done, but for me it was great!

Of all the intros and interludes Rocket Robin Hood used, this is the only one I remember. This song stayed in my head since the mid-sixties. Funny how that works. Thank you for the posting.

That particular "holds his sway" line was as confusing as the "through the... courtesy of Fred's two feet" line in "The Flinstones" theme, from what I can tell, based on how so many different people thought it was dirrerent things. But trust me, it's "hold his sway". (Or don't trust me - google the phrase, like I did a while back, and you'll see that it HAS to be it.)
