I think yes, because here, xorg is workin not gnome... for the GUI of BBdesk I used mono, so i will need to develep with mono the qt gui

fedora vs ubuntu, for a n00b which one is better? i once dual booted ubuntu but i couldnt even install nvidea graphics drivers because it wouldnt regonize it and then i had to do some shitty commands in cmd. then i locked myself out somehow with kernel commands i think... so.. which one would be good? (inb4 windows/mac)

Hello asshole! Maybe I can help yew. Fedora has better security then Ubuntu but Ubuntu is more user friendly. I believe they can both do just about the same things. I prefer Ubuntu but I have tried Fedora and it's pretty good too. I hear Fedora is better with drivers though. Did you go into system > administration > hardware drivers? Btw I'm not stalking you or anything lol. I was looking for Linux videos cause I just made the switch. Yew have a good day.

This is a true animated desktop... controlled by a script using X11 process video controll. I'm in contact with an Ubuntu's user to work on the loses icons on the desktop. You can see the video response to this. note the not loses icons in the V.R

There is a shell script, its name is "a-desk" but you must adapt the script to your distro.

The sript is written fr ubuntu, when i have some time, i will try to create a rpm for Fedora 11

:)
