HI - I just adore this song and feel like crying when I hear it - I've never seen it the musical but I know the song from the internet. DO the three kates survive the sinking and get to America or do they sink? I really wanna know as I have no chance of seeing the musical :)

im pretty sure two of them survive in real life but in the show they all live

Actually, in the show only McGowan survives. Kate Murphy and Kate Mullins both die - though in real life they survived.

Well that bit isn't on the press reels :(. However i can post the Australian one but the set isn't as good or i can post it in Dutc which has an amasing set but not in English. I have the very end where the survivors reunite with the dead.

I would love to see any of those clips! That'd be fabulous. I really never get sick of watching these videos :) I don't expect that you do, but by any chance have you got clips of "Wake Up, Wake Up" and "The Staircase"? Those songs are almost impossible to find anywhere on YouTube since they aren't on the cast recording. I'd love to see them.

Hey, well i don't have it with the Broadway cast as the DVD i have the staircase and wake up wake up are both completly washed out. As in you can't make things out due to the lights and the angle of filming. However the Australian one is good quality as it was filmed pro. In my opinion the cast is fab. But i think a few people could concentrate more on their accents.

Oooh, I'd be curious to see some of the Australian cast - I've only seen the promo bits that are up on YouTube and they don't really give a good indication of what the show was like.

Eek! Thank you so much for putting this up! Honestly, Jennifer is, like, my hero. She's such a great actress and her portrayal of Kate is flawless IMHO. A simply wonderful video, thanks again :)

Glad you like it. The only thing i don't like about Jennifer in this song is the way she says "better life for the baby" you can't hear "the" so it sounds like " better life for baby". But i agree she is great The other Kate McGowen i like is the Australian. Apart from at certain points her accent goes really off.

I didn't even notice that! Probably 'cause I'm to busy singing along/grinning like a fool. I've never seen the Australian production aside from the one or two commercials floating around You Tube.
