  • The video quality on this is great... what camera are you using?

  • i got this in my system and its over clocked from 3 to 3.450 and the temps are cold

  • nice setup man:D

  • For your radiator, Do you have the fan blowing air in or out as an exhaust fan?

  • seeing that beard just blew my view of what you looked like out of the water

  • I agree with others, this cooler is a decent after market cooler for gaming.

Also, thank you for the review, it was very helpful in my decision in choosing an after market cooler. One more thing, your accent is wicked.

  • not for overclocking?? People have gotten 4ghz with this same cooler at 60*c while gaming.

  • Why is the V8 so similar to a stock intel fan? o.o

  • @starwarsfan76 It isn't... It isn't even close...

  • Id say dont buy it .. just got mine today 7/15/11 radiator fins were all trashed ... sending mine back tomorrow

  • What do you mount with Daemon Tools? ;)

  • You dont need heatsink paste for this cooler ?

  • @FBskater88 Thermal Compound is pre-applied with this unit

  • Jeeze, 30 degrees on the best one, that's crazy.

  • so this is what kinds of things osama was doing while in hiding :S

  • Is it possible to have the fan the opposite way? like the radiator screwed against the back of the PC and the fan is showing towards the motherboard? I have an LED 120mm fan and I would like it to be seen.

  • @PhenomonAwesome Yes you can (;

  • @PhenomonAwesome the point to have it face outside is to have hot air move out of your system and not in ... your blowing hot into hot making you system hotter.... dummy

  • is the Cooler master v8 better than the Corsair H50?

  • @chickenpwn000 Nope go to the 8.30 all will be explained

  • Do you need to put that thing on the back of the MOBO? cuz i dont want to take it off. :(

  • i mean Artic cool sorry...

  • hey maxishine,

that ram cooler that you have its aerocool right?

um can you use that particular RAM cooler for any kind of "other branded" product such as kingston?

    thnx..

  • If I wanted to put another fan will I have to get different screws or do I get screws of the same size?

  • nice video

  • Can't you transport the warm fluid wireless?

  • Not for overclocking? I have an AMD Phenom II x4 965 BE and with the stock cooler it ran at 40C idle, and with the H50 i got around 28C idle. Right now I overclocked to 4GHz (from 3.4) and have 35C idle and it doesn't go over 55C running prime 95 for 12 hours.

  • @XRA1D im 40idle with 3.8 oced why isnt as cool as urs?

  • @iLLuMiNoTikMotionFmz It was winter where I live making my room 15C... So now in the summer I get higher temps than you.

  • @XRA1D so the my temps r normal for 3.8ghz with corsair h50?

  • @XRA1D that's a shit CPU.

  • @AsianPerson3 for the price its not :p

  • @masteircheef This is true.

  • maxi i watched this video b4 but came back to watch again and noticed your beird haha awsome

  • I SEE A G25!!! lol anyways, you said its not for overclocking? Is it not that great of a cooler or somethin?

  • @xXxDANMANxXx i just bought myself a H50..im very impressed!!! got my i7 920 OC @ 3.8Ghz, ran prime95 for 2hrs this morning just to make sure system was stable, max temp reached was 70 degrees celcius. Looks great, performs great, 2yr warranty. Only drawback is that u wont get the best results unless u reverse ur exhaust fan..and if u do that u need to have a top exhaust of some sort to dissipate the hot air..other then that its fantastic

  • @battlefever91 Reverse which fan, I have a fan on the top of my case that takes air out its 23 cm I have the thermaltake v9 case

  • And no thermal paste is required?

  • @kingofkrunk16 I think some is already on there

  • Kinda dissapointing results of the V8

  • I hope you can respond to this. I don't understand how to direct the fan since I'm trying to use two fans on the Corsair H50. Should both go in the same direction pushing the air Outside of the case?

  • @otakixus You could put it in a push/pull configuration, which means one fan pulls air through the radiator and the other fan pushes it out.

  • @Mnemosyn3 So basically both fans are going one way. Which means your pulling the air from inside the case, towards the radiator, to the next fan which the next fan pushes it outside the case. Is that correct? That's how my brother explained it to me.

  • @otakixus Yes.

  • also, my pump speed is around 1400rpm, and radiator fan speen around 650rpm.

  • running games like Fallout 3 and Black ops at full settings.

keep in mind, ambient room temps make a huge difference. Mine is between 65 - 70 F.

CPU idle: 24c,... full out: 39c.

I set up the h50 as instructed, pulling cool air from outside. Also, only using the stock paste.

ofcourse my CM Sniper black case helps. the only exhaust fan is the large one at the top of the case.

  • Hey, can you remove the tubes from either the radiator or pump? I want to mount it on the outside of my case and I have two holes meant for water cooling which go into the case that I wanted to put the tubes through. I am pretty sure you will not be able to remove them but I thought it was worth a question. :) Thanks

  • @DarkSplicer93 NO its a sealed unit

  • H50 |mirrow| H2O

  • Im not sure what to get and i was wondering if anyone could help me. For a while i was looking at the TT Frio, but it was a bit hit and miss with the reviews, some got good results others got bad. So i started looking at the H50 and the CoolIT ECO, but im not sure which one to get, or if i should even get one of them and just stick to air cooling. Any views on the matter, im using a AMD 1055t @ 3.5 GHz

  • @listert2595 Well I actually ordered my H50 from amazon yesterday. So I should get it in next week, so I may be able to give my input on it then if you are still interested.

  • @JustAnotherError yeh that would be great if you dont mind, ive been looking at making my own water cooling system but if a H50 or H70 is good enough for just a 4GHz oveclock then ill just stick with one of them.

  • @listert2595 kk. I am suppose to get it Monday so I will probably message you tomorrow or tuesday.

  • @listert2595 Best buy has it on sale and I just installed my h50 and cpu temps are 37c if your are higher i would suggest the h50 or the h70 cpu cooler both are great

  • @TonyandPenny thanks bt it dosnt matter any more ive got the Noctua NH-d14 idle temps 16-19c and full load 48c-50c my cpu (1055t X6) is running at 4GHz and the room temps are around 20c-20c atm.

  • ok a question here fast will this cool down my intel 980x good ? im not gonna clock it so just play it as is. and how long does the pump work till it breaks down i dont wanna burn up my intel ... is there a garente on this ? first time in my life i buy a water cooler so any tips :P thx sry bad english

  • This thing is TOTALLY worth the money. Silent, cheap, and great for overclocking the CPU.

  • I have to corsair H50 but i have not installed it yet, do you suggest having one fan blowing air from the outside to the inside of the case, then having a fan on the other side pulling it through? or am i fine just using the one pushing air into the radiator?

  • What is the name of that Memory cooler? It looks nice!

  • is it the p6tse from asus motherboard??? because i have that one, and this one looks the same and i have a question, do you have to put the fan at the back, on air blow in, or airblow out the case?

  • is it the p6tse from asus motherboard??? because i have that one, and this one looks the same

  • is a 3000 rpm fan over kill for the radiator?

  • son of a beard, nice dude.

  • ultra cool case

  • interesting how would this fix on the element g thermaltake?

  • pause at 2:27 for... MAXISHINES BEARD!!!! :D

  • Btw, I also live in the UK so if you think 30-40'c are our room temperatures...you clearly don't live here!

  • so where do you put the radiator in a case (newb here)

  • @dillonjbritt You mount it anywhere you want too honestly. Anywhere the cables will reach. As long as you have the 120mm area too mount it. I have this cooler and I just ran a stress test and got up to 91c So i did something wrong.....Lol

  • CPU voltage was increased in tiny increments so about 0.7 extra if that really. I'm not sure anymore as I'm starting again and selling this PC to fund a new project. I'm starting into 3D filming and editing. I'm producing a lightsaber fight short film like RVD2

  • To people who keep bitching about my CPU temps:

    1. Stop saying "I've got this and that", unless you have the SAME specs in the SAME environment you can't compare can you?

    2. Every setup and product is different even if you do have EXACTLY the same specs. A friend of mine has the exact same CPU as me and a BETER cooler and can't get the same results so STFU.

    ...that is all

  • @JasKnowsBest i got a amd x3 445 unlocked to a B45 quad 3.ghz, i OC to 3.7ghz with a hyper 212. But i don't really like how the hyper 212 is loud...i hope the h50 cool just as good or better, minus the noise, then its worth it. I could get this for 40$ with rebate at where i live...

  • how does the h50 compare to hyper 212 plus?

  • 5:46 Corsair Hard-Drive?

  • LOL you lucky git with all them PCs :) great test my H50 is due to come soon can't wait to fit it from my stock cooler :)

  • I have an Intel I7 920 from 2.66ghz stock to 4.2ghz oc. Temps on idle are 35-40C and under 100%load i get about 60-70C wich is very good for an all in one watercolling. Btw i got my CPU running at 1.31V.

  • @Serutos

That's exactly what I'm getting now at 4.8GHz stablest and highest I can go without the IOH getting too hot

  • In fact, screw it, I'm saving for a full system watercooling option! Maybe I'll take it into the 5GHz range lol

  • @turbodude555 whats your IOH voltage?

  • @Serutos

No idea, it'll be at stock settings I'd assume. Looking for a program that can show temps that include the IOH

  • Can i install this coller on AMD II X2 245 and Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P?

  • LOL... Wouldn't overclock he said... First of all, I like the video except for one thing... The fact that he said you wouldn't overclock with this product... He's pretty much judging a book by it's cover without even reading it...

Me and my friends do crazy stuff with computers and we have tried this product and have overclocked with it... The results we're mostly better than a full on water cooling system that's more expensive...

    NOTE: THIS PRODUCT KICKS ASS...

But the H70 is out now...

  • where do you work at man? how can you afford all these computers im just curious

  • @frenlyguy95

Could be many things, the cooler, the cases' airflow, your room temperature, your cpu itself or the thermal paste you are using.

  • @turbodude555 ,.. WTF 36°c Full load ???

  • dmn love ur vids dude - but u look like a taliban :D

  • Is there a different version of this cooler? I got mines yesterday and the backplates/retention mounting system is completely different. Also the shell that holds h50 in place is made out of recycled paper not plastic. Ordered from newegg.

  • HOLY CRAP! 2:10, didnt know this guy was osama bin laden! lol xP, jks!

  • @frenlyguy95 you need the pump to run at full speed, so you want to plug the pump into a cha_fan 3/4 pin power plug and the fan into the cpu_fan plug. thats pretty much all i can tell you. i mean im getting this setup and im using 2 stock fans that came with my case because they are beasts. apevia 120mm blue led fans. your fan could be slow because of how it is set up on the motherboard or how the motherboard is controlling it. just check your connections.

  • what is a good average of CPU temp.!?!?

  • It's amazing to see how the Intel Extreme Edition Stock Cooler is similar to the high end Cooler Master V8 in terms of performance.

  • what is this, no thermal grease? you silly beardy

  • @johnbott lol, clean your eyes.

  • @johnbott herp.

  • Great review! Could really see that watercooling is they way to go atm, thx!

  • Epic beard

  • can the h50 work on a LGA 1156 intel i5-750 cpu?

  • @wowspare Yes, I'm planning to put that on my i5-750 LGA 1156 also. The H50 is a universal CPU socket cooler. Will work on LGA 775/1156/1336 and AM2/AM3

  • @wowspare Yes, ask google b4 u post questions like that

  • if u dont want it ill have it bitch!

  • @shytzcrazyo you're supposed to mount the fan first then the radiator, so that you are blowing fresh air across the radiator fins. I put a second fan in front to give it a push, pull configuration

  • omg you just said this cooler is not for overclock!? are you stupid!!? sorry but tons of people do oc on i7 to 4ghz with this cooler...

    xD

  • @0MeNdEz84

Exactly, it's very good value for money but there are more ways like full system water cooling. But thats like £150-£300+

  • @turbodude555 ah ok xD

  • Stress ur pc using Linx max memorry and watch this bitch burn!!!

  • 1. The fan doesn't even matter because the radiator doesn't even get warm.

    2. I don't understand why you said its not for overclocking because I know tons of people that overclock with these (i7-920 etc..) with great performance.

    3. Using doublefans isn't required and will just be more noisy.

Some of this was by opinion but mostly facts. Maxishine you said a lot of false information in here, making it seem its a little wussy cooler.

  • @hyperactivecalvino when you look at the cooling on his armorsuit, every cooler is a wussy cooler.

maybe he was unintentionally comparing it to that. its his opinion.

  • can you do a review on the performance of your zalman vga cooler?

  • Corsair H50 or Prolimatech Megahalem?

  • Does every 120mm fan fits on the radiator?

  • I wouldn't use the fan it comes with but that's just me. :P

  • So the Cosair H50 just fits on any 120m fan?

  • nice beard bro. - 2.36

  • Maxishine = Bin Laden

    kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • Im looking into getting one of these for my system. Seems like the best solution for the price

  • @black96fire if u got the room get the H70

  • @lVleSHuGGA

    Agreed!

  • Are u a drug deler?O.o

  • Also worth noting that every CPU isn't identical and even depending on the thermal paste used and the amounts can make a significant difference. Personally, I would never used a pre-pasted product

  • Well I overclocked an i7950 from 3.06Ghz to 4.04Ghz stable with this cooler (2 fans) and it never reaches higher than 34-36c under FULL LOAD and 20c with normal usage...

  • @turbodude555 find that hard to believe considering I have the same cooler except 1 3200 rpm fan on my i7-875k @ 4.0Ghz 1.3v and I average around 60 under full load on prime 95 after 1 hour a second fan would not make up for 20c!

  • @ProjectRealityBf2

The rest of the PC is also cooled which will affect overall temperatures inside the case and thus the CPU also. After 2hrs of Prime95 I do get higer temps, but nothing truly taxes a computer that much for that length of time anyway

  • @turbodude555 So your house is 68C? Bullshit

  • @turbodude555 bullshizzle!

  • @boldziga

Yes it's all bull when you can't have the same results...

  • @turbodude555 no way!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @turbodude555

What did I say to be removed?

  • @turbodude555

Sorry, 60-68c under full load after 2.4hrs on Prime 95. Still very good

  • @turbodude555 damn its way cooler than my video card xD

  • @turbodude555 Do you live in the freezer or something? For idle to be 20c, you room temperature must be lower than 10degree..

  • @turbodude555 Well we all know thats bullshit and i doubt your house is even 20C ambient

  • @codejunki567

Lol ok dude, no it's -80'c here in the uk :p

  • @turbodude555 Do you live in -80c air? Ambient bro.

  • @codejunki567

Lol, I was being sarcastic there :)

  • @turbodude555 im with you ive got a dual core o.c at 4 ghz and it idles at 10 deg and maxes out at 28 deg its all how you apply the thermal paste and fans !!

  • @vintagepower3

Now THAT I would find hard to believe unless you had like liquid nitrogen cooling lol

  • @vintagepower3 Sorry bro, but thats impossible with this cooler

  • @turbodude555 lol, where the fuck do you live, Antarctica?

  • @turbodude555 really? So do you think so it's better choice than noctua etc air-flow coolers?

  • @CRYPTfromCATACOMBZ

To be honest it depends on what you are doing. Really if you're going for massive OC for whatever reason, then a full system water cooling option is what you want

  • @turbodude555 oh, snap!!!!

  • @turbodude555 nice, did you also test it on prime95?

  • @urbanannihilators

Yeah that's what I like to use. That and Benchmark which tests everything.

  • @turbodude555 double fans?? u mean on both sides?

  • @tippete123

    Indeed

  • @turbodude555 Proove it... I got my i7 920 @ 3.5 and it gets to 83 on prime95, so I say, keep dreaming? :/

  • @climb2freak

So I say, that's not my CPU?

  • @turbodude555 U said I7 920... Just keep dreaming :D that's all I say ;)

  • @climb2freak

Are you trying to goad me? I have clearly never said anything about owning a i7 920. I have an i7 950. Moving on to Sandy Bridge next, the i7 2600k

  • @turbodude555 at what voltage?? :P u didnt increase it i think...

  • @turbodude555

I cant see how that can be. Unless an ultimate form of cooling is used, like liquid nitrogen or something, its not possible to have the cpu running at a temp bellow room temperature. Either you temp sensors are messed up, or you live in a freezer.

  • @turbodude555 aAre your fans bringing air in or blowing air out?

  • @Aus1095

Inwards with fans sucking out of the cases roof to keep the hot air coming inwards to a minimal. Im selling this setup now anyways. I'm going to build a proper watercooling system next month, so keep an eye on my youtube profile as i'll upload pics n vids!

  • damn this guys got deep pockets

  • @Aus1095 right thats just what i was thinking he is definitely not American i cant afford to build a gaming rig right now much less 4 of them

  • rly idiot, i oc my i7 870 from 2.8 to 4ghz with this. 60c in full load.

  • From that angle(2:08), you look like Osama bin laden.... Lolz..

  • you know i would love to have the full water cooling system but i don't have the money! so goin with the h50

  • Lian-Li Armosuit... <3 ^^

  • Conclusion, DO overclock with the H50, and DO NOT buy the Coolermaster V8 over the Intel cooler.

  • 1366 socket motherboards doesnt support the latest budget processors ,and everyone knows you dont need a fast cpu for the latest games .

a i3 core around 100 bucks will do great already .

better get a 1156 motherboard ,so you can buy a cheaper i3 processor or i5 .

and spend your well earned money in a big fat grafics card

  • @ImmortalUniverse and when doing this and buy lower end cpu's with high end gfx card you will run the risk of bottle necking the gfx cards................

  • @banging35hzs

nah ,never noticed any problems at all.

bottle necks are for noobs .

  • @banging35hzs

the cpu is usually not the bottleneck an i3 goes pretty well with the latest big cards .

Its the resolution of your screen that makes you bottleneck.

the higher the resolution .the more calculations.

    an i3 can handle it.

but you need a videocard with a lot of VRAM on it.

also i always overclock my whole system ,not just the cpu.

the onboard mem is important aswell . low latency and high speed is important .

my systems are always stable .

  • i bought one ,it works perfectly with my cpu .

bought one later for a friend to go with a i3 core .

    again works perfect ,very silent

and the thermal paste is very well divided and of high quality .

dont belief the negative crap you hear .

it is a great water cooler with great stock thermal paste and fan.

  • @ImmortalUniverse

Seriously NO stock thermal paste is any good. I paid £325 for my motherboard and the thermal paste is made of cheese! (Not literally but that's what it looks like)

It made my IOH run at 80c without any overclocking etc. Stock paste is simply crap and since applying your own decent paste can produce far superior results...why not? £2.99 helpped me bring the temperature down by 35c!

  • @turbodude555

i know ,that usually is the case .

but im not complaining about the paste corsair used on the H50.

i even tried artic silver later with another build ,and i get the same results as with the stock paste.

with the same kind of build .

    so

its not that bad ,unless you think 1 or 2 celcius is gonna benefit.

  • @turbodude555

    but you are right.

the best paste to my opinion is artic silver 5 .

    it cost around 8 euro's /dollars

if you doubt the stock paste performs well, then its a good idea to apply your own.

    its cheap anyways.

  • what u suggest dude, which one is better ? your views pls

  • how many pc do you have?????

  • p6t....like this=)

  • Can a owner of this Cooler tell me how much better their temps got after upgrading from a Air cooled unit?
