I think that Slash as a better technique and a much more beautiful unique sound. Perry as a unique sound too but not as beautiful... But I have listen them live quite often and I would say that Perry is much much better to improvise...

slash has much better melody, plus his playing is much smoother. in my opinion he's a more evolved player. perry's style is good but not that good. you can definitely tell perry was a big influence on slash though.

Guns N' Roses have 20 songs i like. On Appetite For Destruction and GN'R Lies. But thats enough to make me keep on favoriting Slash and Original Guns N' Roses....Its a really..REALLY hard choice but. I gotta say Joe Perry \,,/

And well.......Its a hard choice cause Joe Perry is Slash's Idol too. So much of Slash's style comes from Joe. In Creativeness theyre equal, in technical i gotta say Joe is slightly better, They both share my first place guitarist place together with Angus Young. But i only like GN'R 1985-1990. Slash's play got pretty boring after that. I blame Axl Rose, Matt Sorum and Dizzy Reed for that though, cause Matt and Dizzy couldnt FUCKING be as good as Steven and Izzy, i hate Matt and Dizzy!
