is there any tips that you could give me i just ordered my first ocarina, whats the best way to learn and practice so i can play the zelda songs, i played flute for a couple years and i play music by ear so im hoping this will help me out, but any tips you could give a beginner?

Hey docjazz i got the Oot 12 hole from songbirdocarina and the inside of some of the finger holes have some chunks of ceramic that werent smoothed down. im just wondering if this affects the sound or anything about the ocarina at all or not. im new to the ocarina and im not sure how to make sure its tuned properly. thanks in advance

Umm... I'm not an expert on ocarinas, but I do play a few instruments and I can tell you NOT to get something because it's cheap... not if you really want to produce anything that resembles a melody ^^ sometimes you get lucky and the cheap piece of crap actually isn't, but thats rare ^^ ask someone who knows.
