It lost influence after 20 years. It would have stood no chance against either of the 3 nations in the earlier stages of their development. In fact, if Cao Cao were still around there would have been no Jin whatsoever.

When I first played (DW3), Wu was my favorite. If Guan Yu had simply lost this battle due to Cao Ren's stalwart defenses, I honestly would not have given his death a second thought. However, this betrayal put me at odds with Wu, and made me go back and forth between Shu and Wei.
Nowadays, it's impossible to pick. The series is amazing, and has an extensive amount of more playable officers. Next time around maybe Yue Jin won't be an NPC. He is one of the Five Elite Generals, after all.
I thaught it was sad when Guan Yu said farewell to his son, then his son probably saw his own father get killed...also, Guan Yu never notices that Guan Ping dies...

This is further evidenced in DW5, when you look at Xiahou Dun's ending and the movie before the Battle of Guan Du.

In any case, I love how koei is expanding their instrumental diversity. I like the slow and smooth sounding electric guitar accompanying the classic epic guitar riffs it usually has.
Ha ha, this is good stuff, plain and simple, some nice, slow and chugging metal that somehow fits in with kicking serious ass while plodding along an awesome battlefield. Very 80's inspired and that's not a bad thing. I agree with anyone who says this would've been a good track to crank for the Wu Zhang Plains. Without a doubt it's an excellent piece of music.

I like the sprites of all the Shu characters apart from Guan Yu. I love this track, it's so much better than the one dedicated to Wu.

@CyberCommando1 Oh, my bad. I only listen to country songs, beautiful songs, relaxing songs and Japanese songs. Also, I listen to Dynasty Warriors soundtracks. I don't listen to Justin Bieber, Lady GaGa or any of those.

To be frank and no offense to you but I don't like or hate JB so I don't know why people get on YouTube to bombard the comment page w/ things about Lady Gaga and JB or their fans. I go on to appreciate the music I listen to or pranks and other immature things I proporably shouldn't watch at my age LOL. But yeah, I get what you're saying about the dislike.

This song is pretty cool. Definitely fitting for Shu. I like Wu's battle theme more though.
This is still a great song though.
