I have to say if ti wasn't for the book's and tapes from anway/Quixtar...... I wouldn't be able to hold any job. Those tapes and books helped me to become more likeable as a person and even have influence over others. If there's anything people should take away from Amway is their books and tapes, ofcourse the upper-level distributors might be charging for the books and tapes they put together, but books and tapes don't just appear about the thin air!. Everything cost money to produce!

It's true, there have been organizations that create tool pyramids and ignore legitimate business. Amway/Quixtar is cracking down on that. I know of at least 2 high level IBO's that were revoked last year for refusing to comply with ethical business practice regarding tools. However, that doesn't mean ALL support organizations are bad - and a certian amount of investment in tools is necessary.
People spend many thousands of dollars starting a business like say - opening a restaurant. If they fail do they say that restaurants don't work or that they were tricked into opening a restaurant? People need to take responsibility for thier own decisions - good or bad.
And the people starting those businesses understand that they are the decision makers from day one. They are the true owners.
You are allowed a PV schedule on Amway products, you don't technically own anything.
Thats why you just wait for them to make decisions, nobody cares what you think about changing the name to Quixtar or Amway and back and forth....because you arn't the owner.
They allow u a PV schedule and thats it. The restaurant owner is just that, an owner. You are not.
I've been with WWDB for over 6 years and have watched them make the tool system more economical for the IBO's. They are beyond reproach in thier efforts to make the system affordable and efficient. Platinums at this point get just enough to offset shipping costs to downline. WWDB is not meant to be a profit center. There needs to be enough profit to develop better systems and training. I think you're probably one of those people who doesn't really want the facts - just to find something wrong.

You have been around for 6 years but you don't get it. If RP would have had to come up with thousands a year for tools and training before he ever moved a single product he wouldn't have been profitable and he couldn't have stayed in with his wife working all night at Denny's.

With Quixtar, you sell products and they agree to give you credit for what your business and downline does for the effort you put in. No disagreement there. Understand?
Quixtar is upfront about the profit schedule and profit. That is a none issue.
Where the serious problem starts is where WWDB doesn't talk about the millions they are raking in off the 1000s/year IBOs pay in on WWDB BSMs alone.

Lets say you have 10 quality business' that all "build it right". 2-3k a year in tools/training and your the one that supports them.
BUT where do you think that 20-30k in tool/training profit is going...yet its your work that brings in the profit.

And anyway - every field of endeavor has experts who sell thier knowledge by book, CD or seminar - usually much more expensive the WWG. You get paid for knowledge AFTER you aquire it - that's how industry works - so again - what's your problem?
You keep insinuating that there's some hidden secret -- but that's not the case either. Our upline is very clear that WWG is for-profit organization and as well that you profit share at Platinum and above. And before you bother asking why all IBO's don't profit share -- any company that offer's profit sharing also has a probationary period to prove competence before you qualify. Since you can't fire anyone in Quixtar, the only way to prove competence is to reach a qualified level.
And the reason IBO's can make profit from products right away is because they can retail them to the general public -- not so with BSM's. This is all logic from years of business, professional and financial knowledge, not from what "they" told me. There is no secret society here.

Those tapes and books helped me to become more likeable as a person and even have influence over others. If there's anything people should take away from Amway is their books and tapes, ofcourse the upper-level distributors might be charging for the books and tapes they put together, but books and tapes don't just appear about the thin air!. Everything cost money to produce!

I am disappointed that my favorite James Bond sold out to ScAmway. The only ones who make money off that pyramid scheme are the elite distributors who sell motivational books and CDs. Can I be honest? I was an AMWAY Distributor. I quit due to not making money, and family was not in agreement. I must say that AMWAY has haters. It can be a very good business. But you MUST hang in there through the non-money making days. Most people leave before that ends, then they are bitter. Amway was fun, informative, educational, and in any organization, you will have some that abuse or wrong. But please try it before you knock it. I still like AMWAY. even if ithas higher prices.

The scary thing is they are so convinced and are master bullshitters, which is similar to any company i guess. Or, many people were urged to spend more money on the tool and training side than actually building a profitable Amway business.
Some supt org convinced them to spend thousands a year on their training system which really only was based on emotion and not product movement.
Therefore they didn't produce any PV and therefore no profit.
Well, technically they produced profit, just not for themselves...lots of profit for the supt org leaders and their tool "dreams".

It's true, there have been organizations that create tool pyramids and ignore legitimate business. Amway/Quixtar is cracking down on that. I know of at least 2 high level IBO's that were revoked last year for refusing to comply with ethical business practice regarding tools. However, that doesn't mean ALL support organizations are bad - and a certian amount of investment in tools is necessary.

I would agree with the investment in training is necessary, just like product flow is necessary.
So then why is that the IBO can't share in the tool profit from day one as they can with the Amway products through a PV structure.
They are not cracking down on it. WWDB and BWW do not offer tool income to anyone but the upper levels.
And these are clearly of the two most amplified groups involved in Amway.

I've been with WWDB for over 6 years and have watched them make the tool system more economical for the IBO's. They are beyond reproach in thier efforts to make the system affordable and efficient. Platinums at this point get just enough to offset shipping costs to downline. WWDB is not meant to be a profit center. There needs to be enough profit to develop better systems and training. I think you're probably one of those people who doesn't really want the facts - just to find something wrong.

With Quixtar, you sell products and they agree to give you credit for what your business and downline does for the effort you put in. No disagreement there. Understand?
Quixtar is upfront about the profit schedule and profit. That is a none issue.
Where the serious problem starts is where WWDB doesn't talk about the millions they are raking in off the 1000s/year IBOs pay in on WWDB BSMs alone.
So at least WWDB doesn't make "feeble" profit.

Our upline is very clear that WWG is for-profit organization and as well that you profit share at Platinum and above. And before you bother asking why all IBO's don't profit share -- any company that offer's profit sharing also has a probationary period to prove competence before you qualify. Since you can't fire anyone in Quixtar, the only way to prove competence is to reach a qualified level.
