Interesting idea, to make sounds the emphasis, with the "intensified hearing" on the narrator. It doesn't work if you haven't already read the story, though.

bad idea.

this has virtualy nothing to do with the regular story except the plot is the same.

almost all of the major details are changed.

it srill isn't the worst adaptation though, but i personally didn't care for it.
