  • The animus in this diatribe says so much about its creator the content is eclipsed.

You see, sir Religious beliefs are a personal, transformative, and sacred. JESUS WAS ABSENT IN THIS. ITS NOT DESPITE but BECAUSE the ABSENCE OF EVIDENCE allows the follower to, with grace practice FAITH)

This venom shows an outward need of approval, and a DEEP LACK of FAITH. Truth is eternal. If you're right they'll find out.The vicious "defending" sadly shows a need to convince noone but yourself. IMHO.

  • you aren't destoying anything but your own credibility and soul. answer these. j smiths known mistranslation of hieroglyphics. secret rituals when Christ spoke out against them. b youngs part in the massacre of women n children. holy underwear. mormons ruling planets after death, but not for women. masonic-based rituals and garb. btw, finding lead n copper tablets in the holy land has nothing to do with j smiths secret tablets from moron(i), so this is blown. answers please. no disrespect meant,

  • @jeffsbored13 Yeah yeah yeah, we have heard it all before. Best thing you will ever do is pull your head out of the anti-Mormon sources and begin to sincerely research for yourself.

  • I feel sorry for this guy. He will be b4 God just like all of us & he will than realize his mistake. "Forgive them Father for they know not what they do"

  • I wonder what happen? So was the discovery real? or a fake?

  • if i was going to post a video rebuttal to this, i'd probably just link all of your other videos.

    ;)

  • Interesting

  • I am not for or against what you say, But you may want to give this some time and see how it pans out. Good luck

  • hahahahahah

    MORMONS = MASTERS OF EXCUSES

  • @MALDITTOROKKERO

Shall I match you and type

    ANTI-MORMONS = MASTERS OF IGNORANCE?

  • Do you think BereanBeacon is paying attention to this? I see that they have several videos proclaiming that "Archaeology stills proves the Bible".

  • @GaryKColeman

Of course BereanBeacon will not pay attention to anything I produce. Are you kidding me? Why confuse them with the facts?

  • As someone that I watch on youtube would say, this is fascinating "stuff".

It is. It is fascinating and I cannot wait to hear more on this find concerning its content if they are able to discern the topics and intent. The fact that this is on metal plates gives credence to the idea of wanting a more permanent record, I agree. Exciting news. Thanks for sharing!

  • Whatever their provenance, those ring binders are very interesting.

  • @canadianbacon007

The rings ARE fascinating to see aren't they!

  • @TheBackyardProfessor It seems to me that the ring binding is the best binding for metal plates. Who wants to glue a plated codex on the back?

  • Plus, God has never ever gave authentic proof of anything regarding Him or His Son. We have writings, we have the scriptures, but faith is a gift of God. Biblical Archaeology is taking the right approach and of course presenting a different story. Which is a good thing.

  • @EltonJThe

When Jesus the Holy Christ was actually THERE, right in the MIDST of the people, HEALING them, teaching them, what was their reaction? The killed him to get rid of Him! The literal, and I cannot overstate this, the LITERAL PROOF and TRUTH was there, and THEY GOT RID OF HIM..... THEY ELIMINATED HIM. Now somehow, that just has to give some context on the literal stupidity of the "PROOF" argument of so many anti-Mormons. If Jesus CANNOT ***PROVE*** anything, how can archaeology do so?!

  • @TheBackyardProfessor Archaeology can't. The discipline just can't. That's the thing. Even OOPARTS can't prove anything in the Scriptures except that our preconceptions about the Ancient Past are just totally wrong.

  • Archaeologists have to be cautious when it comes to proving something with the Bible. The reason is, if they proclaim something, people will eat it up like candy. Of all the archaeological disciplines, Biblical Archaeology is the most rigorous, the most meticulous, and the most time consuming. There has been mistakes made in the past, and there has been forgeries constructed (like James the Just's ossary).

  • @EltonJThe

The Israeli authorities are coming out now and proclaiming close to 80% of all archaeological artifacts discovered in the last 60 years are forgeries!!! Good heavenlies man! THink about that......just let that sink in for a bit......

  • @TheBackyardProfessor ___ Would that happen to be the same type Authorities that killed Christ and tried to cover it up even to this day???? Think about that MAN.

  • @TheBackyardProfessor

Why mess around with trinkets and relics in attempts to prove your point when you can just go to the horse's mouth?

This is one of the single most fascinating videos I've come across regarding Biblical Archeology, effortlessly illustrating the historical accuracy of the Bible as the genuine, authentic word of God, without even trying (tho that isn't the intent.)

Anyway, watch the whole thing, you'll enjoy it.

  • Sweet. Where do you find this stuff lol?!

  • @Dalessiokiller : lol - In minute 2:46 you can see the headline. Try to google it. :)
