no, i think they are all brass, and if they are silver, they are made of stainless steel i believe. Hope that answers your question. Oh yeah, if its brass, you can hook a wool pad to your engine and put brass polish on it :)not positive that would work.. but who knows :D
i live in california and anything like that outside worth that kind of money would be gone or destroyed because people here dont respect you. if they want it they will take it. if they dont want it they will just destroy it. everything here has to be taken inside or locked up or in the morning its gone. but its too bad something that awesome had to be taken down. hopefully someday it will be back up and running.
Very nice but very sad. The destruction is too familiar to me. I built, ran and tore down a very large garden layout myself. Every part of it is hard work. I hope you move on to even bigger and better accomplishments.
Very sad to see such great effort ruined. I've built and torn down four layouts myself. Sometimes it is more fun building, then running the trains themselves. Not sure why this guy did it, but that's part of model railroading.
