@sbvikings30 first use 2 to 3 coats primer white grey or black doesnt matter. sand btween coats with 220. then 3 or four coats black laquer sand between coats with 120.
@TheHarvey6678 first i primed it, then i did 3 or four coats of black laquer, Laquer is an oil based paint just like the paint that is being swirled in the water, so the laquer is a good base coat for attracting the paint to the guitar when u dip it. As for the water its is inside for a reason. I filled the barrel and let it sit for about an hour or until it got to room temp. then i put in Boots Own Borax which thins out the water breaking up the tension on top, then i mixed it for 3 mins
cool kinda looks like marble. what spraypaint should we use if we dont have an airbrush? what grit sandpaper did you use?
