I've been wanting to get this for a while now and thinking of asking for it for my b-day in July.I want to get it in 'Imperial Toile" but I haven't seen it in RL so Im not sure.Help?

@LiveLaughLove2535 You can actually put the backpack in a different way, it's alot easier to put in and zip up! You can take the binder and turn it sideways. You can put the big part, the part where it usually says what size the binder is, and put it in that way, so the skinny part where your tabs stick out, is at the top. I just got a new Laptop Backpack yesterday in Suzani, and it's to die for. LITERALLY! (:

Dear vera bradley:

please can you make this bag large enough to hold a larger 15.6" laptop and also make it waterproof but NOT the shiny material, more like the waterproof material used on jansport and north face backpacks. I ask this because I really want to have a vera bradley backpack but sometimes I have to carry my laptop to school and also i walk 15 minutes to school so I need it to be waterproof and durable. I am a college student I hope vera bradley reads this and considers it! thanks

@xxmb65 Do you know first hand that it won't fit a 15.6'' laptop? I'm asking because this is what is actually keeping me from buying one. I know they say it will fit a 15''.. but I was just wondering if with a little "push" it might fit a 15.6'' one?

@lazhit sorry, I don't know first hand and that is the same question I was wondering. I saw this backpack in person in a VB store and it seemed small. I figure that even if I tried to "squeeze" my 15.6" laptop inside, it might not be durable enough to withstand me carrying my heavy laptop plus my books/notebooks on a daily basis since it was designed for smaller/lighter laptops. The cloth material might break or the zipper might break from such a tight fit :-(

@lazhit you should read some of the reviews on this backpack on the VB website. someone mentions that they were able to tightly fit a 17" laptop but not in the laptop compartment...

a laptop backpack seems bigger..and i use it for school. it really is a good backpack..although i don't carry my laptop in it i use that pocket for my math book..the body of the backpack is plenty big enough for another book, binder, folders, etc.
