I was 10 when Counting Crows first hit it big. My mom was obsessed. She saw them in concert. Now, I envy her. I adore the Counting Crows. This album especially.
why were they and still are so underrated? never understood it? Thanks to sirius radio for reminding how friggin great this tune is. Reminds me of High School
This Album is simply Great to say the very least!!! I heard Mr.Jones on a internet radio station back in the day before these guys had ever been heard of by 99% of the people. I went the next day to my local music store and special ordered it. Lets just say that I was very pleased and I turned alot of friends on the the C.C.
only cd ever made worth the money. not one bad song on the whole cd. Match box 20 is a distant second with 6 good songs. everyone else only about 3 on averge. and they wonder why we burn our own cd's now days. CC Rocks. Best cd ever!
@boomer1981abc Look, perhaps the song should get more airplay and be a bigger hit, but my point is that YOU know it's a great song, I know it's a great song AND so do others. There will always be great art that is not recognized, for a while anyway, by the masses, but over time the cream will rise to the top. This song will outlast nothings by Justin Beaverhead and Taylor Sluft and their talentless corporate ilk.
@StevenCarinci I agree that this song is amazing. I agree that the Counting Crows are great and that it deserves to be well-known. And yes, it will probably outlast songs by Justin Beiber and Taylor Swfit, if only because it has meaning and true fans, whereas they are just the current puppets of the media.
I have to say, though, there's no need to insult artists just because they're not as good as the Counting Crows. You can say you don't like their music without being like that.
I really like this song. when I was heard this first time it was the time I was getting to know one of my colleague's at work. then I left were I was working and while after I heard he was dead due to a heart attack, everytime I hear this song it reminds me of him. hope he is resting in peace
going april 28th can't wait to see them ;)

I always forget how great this album is. Everytime I hear it though its hard to think of an album I liked more from the 90's.
