You guys are silly. It's most likely a weather drone circulating in and out at the edge of a rain shaft. I have seen it before during tornado season. It's very similar. A company Aerosonde Robotic Aircraft makes one of the most sophisticated ones out there. That flies using GPS satellite navigation, inertial gyroscope navigation, a 9600bps digital radio link. The storm chasers i have been with flies it into wall clouds and tornadoes. The circular patterns are also consistent with weather drones.

it could very well be spook lights. during storms like lightning storms with high energy make spook lights. like back when hurricane Opal came threw here back in the 90's the electronic pulse was so strong in the air that spook lights was visible in the trees all the way up. so tho never seen any close to the clouds but thats what i believe it is.... and being from Germany i know that not a Ball lightning since its very common there to burn down houses.

It seems quite plausible that it was Ball lightening....A weather balloon caught in a wind vortex is a possibility, but you would imagine the vortex would be evident in the clouds surrounding it. Ball lightening footage is quite rare...good find. My grandfather saw one close up one time...it was moving along a telephone line (attracted to the charge?) then it sort of bounced off and came to the ground and disappeared. (I don't know if it just vanished, exploded in sparks, or some other way)

I actually find your video quite intertesting. Several years ago I was driving when I noticed high in the sky what looked like a white bird. I only thought it was a bird because of the movements. I have worked on many jets, and witnessed several flights from a multitude of air frames. I realized it was not a bird from the speed and altitude. The sky was overcast but it was not raining. As I rounded a curve (towards the object) it very quickly disappeared. It looked like your images.

This is precisely what a Sailplane looks like when it´s circling in a Thermal under a cloudbase.

We only see the part of the circle where the sailplane has it´s "belly" facing the camera. It becomes large-enough to be "resolved" by the cam.

On the other side of the circle, it´s probably under the cloud´s shadow, so it´s simply too dark to bee seen by this camera.

Except, the speed is a bit too fast for a real-size sailplane. But it could be an R/C Sailplane.
