Global warming is real, but it's a textbook example of bad science. The media have made up a load of bullshit facts to hype it up and sell more copies. This panics the population, so politicians get involved (never a good idea, politics and science don't mix) and force through a load of bullshit policies to make it look like they're doing something.

In reality, it's nothing like as bad as it's made out to be.

The climate is ALWAYS changing--either warming or cooling. We've had several warm periods since the end of the last ice age & several intervening cold periods, including what is known as the "Little Ice Age" (LIA) that lasted several hundred years and during which they held carnivals on the frozen-over Thames river in London. The LIA was preceded by the Midieval Warm Period which was as warm & likely warmer than today. It was even warmer previously to that. Temps can fall without an ice age.
