Plus it is a given fact that away support of any club is better than home support since the undedicated prawn sandwich types are less likely to travel and hardcore supporters who can't stand their own ground for being so quiet and prefer an edge are more likely to travel.

Fair play to you Forest for the noise you brought to the Bridge, I admit our atmosphere is shite nowadays, it embarrasses me.
But the very things we are accused of you have also been guilty of yourselves. You acquired a lot of new (fairweather) support when you won those leagues and European Cups and you spent quite a lot of money for that time to achieve this. I've got nothing against that, but I hate it when people make out that we are the first to start all this.

Bandwagon jumping happens the world over. I'm a West Brom fan, have been for years and years (when we were even worse than now). But last season we got to the FA Cup semi-final against Portsmouth and somehow acquired an extra 15-20,000 fans for one game! And now the stadium is full every home game whereas it just wasn't last season. It's just the way it goes I'm afraid :)
