  • I FIRST heard this record at the "EM CLUB" (Enlisted Men's Club) on base at the old Naval Training Center San Diego (now Liberty Station) in late 1985 after I graduated boot camp and was attending Radioman 'A' School. I was 18 years old and it was my very first time in a night club hearing loud jams! There were civilian chicks allowed in the club and it was a most memorable experience for me! The DJ used to play this record all the time!

  • A TRUE pioneer. The 13 dislikes have NO understanding of Dougie's contribution to Hip-Hop and to pop culture. People worldwide try to emulate what he's done. Everyday I hear some kid doing a human beat-box on a playground, classroom, or bus stop. YouTube is filled with videos of people rom other countries proving Dougie's influence and showcasing their skill.
