@xXChrisBoneXx wow.. thats great to hear.... this album was killed by critics mainly due to what they felt was weak production..... canibus was destroying mix tapes at the time and i think ppl were expecting more but i absolutely LOVED this album.... i thought he had other good ones as well... as a lyricist he one of the best

I remember those days. I used to have a cassette tape with only Canibus collaborations on it, back in 1997. The songs he did with Lost Boyz, The Firm, Rass Kass, Common, i had them all. Canibus was the illest on every song he was featured on. But than his album came out in 1998. I can't lie, i was disappointed too. We all expected a lot from Canibus. Wyclef did spoil it. We wanted hardcore, rugged shit like "Beasts from the East" and "Desperados". Canibus never recovered from it.

Actually, Canibus didn't make the original. Lloyd and Canibus both sampled the beat from an old school Curtis Mayfield song I believe.
