  • intense song

  • @clockle...and if they're country musicians, they aren't musicians at all ha ha

  • Hell yeah!!!!Eddie started singin another brick in the wall.

  • "George Bush leave this world alone"-EPIC WIN!

  • @cEsaRJuLiOhAtAkE last time i checked the country was in better shape when george bush was in office:)

  • @Pearljam1282 last time I checked it was bush who fucked us over with the patriot act.

  • @LostReality33 or clintion with nafta?

  • I really wanted to see PJ right in my hometown of Chicago that year. Luckily a week later the great alternative station q101 played the whole entire concert on the radio. It was two or three hours of the best concert i've never been to :)

  • I did a cover of Daughter on my guitar. Check it out

  • The crowd was non reactive to his Bush comment. He was hoping for reaction and got nil.

  • @quadbravo I have the official bootleg of this show, and on it you can hear the crowd reacting quite clearly. You can also hear the crowd sing the first few lines of "Daughter" before Ed takes the mic, which you can't hear on this clip either.

  • @LaEscapia Well, Hollywood has always been known for their highly discerning, razor sharp political views.

  • @quadbravo I know! That's why so many Republican actors get elected. Seriously? Hollywood? Pearl Jam has about as much to do with "Hollywood" as I do.

  • @LaEscapia want dat if you'd like to share???? whatluck64@yahoo.com

  • @whatluck64 Got it off of iTunes.

  • Makes me remember being 15 all over again. This is an amazing work by a brilliant band. Eddie sure knows how to make you feel alive again.

  • Fuck! Ed is a babe! <3 and his voice..holy fuck! beautiful!

  • Life's lessons learned, one mellows with age; the voice softens sweetly, but shouts louder than ever.

  • His voice is like wine the older the better.

  • Wonder if he's singing 'Barack Obama leave this world alone yet?' He will be...just wait 'n see!

  • @kantucky You're right. I hope he does.

  • WTF!! Pearl Jam is F**king awesome and the crowd sounds dead WTF is wrong with them!?!?!

  • @whatsupbato i think they mute the crowd so it doesnt overpower the music

  • THE WALL!!

  • am i wrong or is eddies voice getting better and better throughout the years?

  • am i wrong or is eddies voice getting better and better throughout the years?

  • @franneck1989 you are correct....his voice is getting better !

  • Eddie Vedder=Big Lebowski!!!

  • @iom6 I thought that when I saw Big Lebowski, haha

  • Comment removed

  • Normally i am an advocate for a bands early material, but i was around for their original stuff, and now find that i like their recent material much more than the 10 days.

  • this song was off vs. wasnt it?

  • yep it was, but it seems that each time they play it, it takes on a new life of it's own.

  • this is only the second album mate

  • Hails to Eddie Vedder!

  • dude i fucking looovvveee pearl jam

  • See you guys in London!! :) :) :)

  • Possibly the best song ever written.

  • love the tag love the song and i'm seeing them in august :)) berlin i am coming

  • If you like this music you should check out Stone Descendant. Named in honor of Stone Gossard! They will be huge soon!

  • Is the whole pro-shot version of the show up on bootleg?

  • eddie is great here! love that man

  • I'm a conservative but I don't care what my favorite bands ideological views are. It's not like they care what your ideology is. Sure you may disagree with others political views but I beleive politics isn't everything.

  • What's the political view of Pearl Jam guys?

  • very very liberal.

  • Most musicians are liberal.....unless they're country musicians!

  • Badass song! Fuck the haters

  • don't see what the big deal is...loved the way he put bush in with "the walls" lyrics. i guess if you're a republican it will offend you. i've seen PJ like 9 or 10 times and this is one song i always look forward too... don't think i've heard performed the same way twice. love the way eddie always mixes up the sing-along at the end.

  • I was there

  • Oh yeah I was there Woot woot! High as a kite too. Anyone remember the fireworks going off at the perfect time? Yeah sweet show... But what was with dennis rodman and lance armstrong? Still pretty cool. The sign translator was drinking a bottle of champagne and dancing during the last song. Just killer show moments like that when everyones singin and havin a kickass time in Chicago.

  • I think the spreading of ideas and views is what made this country. So think of it as spreading his opinion on issues being political. It's like calling Rage Against the Machine wrong for the way they chose to express the opinion they wished to display. Freedom of speech is by far the best freedom the U.S. has and their choice are exercising should not be criticized on the seperation of music and politics.

  • fuck bush and fuck all politics

  • fuck you and your lib views.

  • I have to say I disagree with the liberalism, but this is America, people can say whatever the fuck they want here, and that's what makes us better than other countries. So by bashing a president that they feel (and arguably did) hurt America, they are celebrating America. And if you saw something objectionable happening, and you had the influence they have, wouldn't you speak up?

  • no. This is the internet.

"the most stringent protection of free speech would not protect a man in falsely shouting fire in a theatre and causing a panic."" - O. W. Holmes

think about it. Anyways, I wish I were at Lollapalooza. It must have been great watching this live. Thanks for the share

  • lol except when they are the dixie chicks

  • @krentistthedentist i hate to make you feel un-special but 95% of countries these days have freedom of speech, in that respect America isn't special. Nothing personal mate i'm just setting the record straight

  • i think music is culture, and the culture isn't possible living with people whose love to capitalism&power could destroy all with wars, censure and some kind of same shit.

  • hell nearly every band in the world has some view on politics. and if u think this is political, then DON'T ever look up rage against the machine :P

pearl jam can do what they want because they are fucking pealr jam.

  • Amen. PJ is our Beatles, our Zep, and our Stones.

  • it isnt hurting you if you were a real fan of the band you wouldnt care

  • You know, on one hand I get people who say "I don't want to hear an artist's political views," but at the same time, I tend to side with the artist. Vedder feels like he's in a position of influence (which I think he is), or at the very least has the opportunity to voice his opinion to a great number of people willing to listen (which he undisputably has). I say if he's got the opinion and feels like he can say something to help, more power to him... Have I used up the character count yet? lol

  • I don't want to hear an artist's political views........lol what???

thats just stupid......you pay to see that person and if that person wants to say kill all babies that person has the right to say it......fucking sensitive people when it comes to their own beliefs....and especially defending a scumbag like bush.

  • i agree. people are way too sensitive about what others beliefs are. it all boils down to them being insecure about their own belifs. whatever. fuck em.

  • look at that beautiful skyline motherfuckers! that's how we do it in the midwest you coastal fucking flagburners!

  • lol dude stfu....this place sucks ass....its one of the most depressing places in this country......almost as bad as the south and the northwest..........atleast the other two have lots of blondes with big boobs.

  • have you even been to the sough or the midwest or northwest? tulsa? atlanta? chicago? some of the best fucking cities in the country are in the midwest. go back to the fucking coast commie, we dont want you in our midwest! lol

  • lol

  • north east was here first wooooo!

  • This is my favorite song from Pearl Jam,not their masterpiece, but my favorite

  • If you don't want to hear what Vedder or other members of Pearl Jam think, then don't go to their concerts.

  • Pearl jam is still awesome!

  • its gonna be sweet this year!

  • george bush leave this world alone................ Awesome performance

  • Damn, Vedder's still got his voice. Nice.

  • lo maximo... pearl jam..

  • loco han pasado mas de 15 años de que se edito esa cancion y la voz sigue siendo casi la misma, asi tambien la onda...y la calidad.

    larga vida a Pj

  • I used to say it seemed like Pearl Jam is a good socialist rock band! Power to the People! (I think John Lennon came up with that lyric!)

  • you know you're music

  • i am offended someone decided to sponsor the hell out of Lollapalooza and bring it back from the dead. it's like they rape the corpse of the 90's.

    but otherwise, cool song!

  • who cares I am glad that it is back

  • anything is better than the warped tour

  • u prefer to visit the grave? how about u just don't go and let the rest of us enjoy.

  • you never know what eddie's gonna sing at the end of daughter

    i think it's a rule

this one was the best though

  • i grew up with this band. probably one of the last groups my parents go into before they stopped listeing to new music.

yeah, they pretty much stopped after grunge...

    ha ha

but anyway, i think zach's bush rant at coachella was a bit better but eh, whatever.

    this is still good!

  • I can get interested in Zach's rants and lyrics a bit more just because they are so specific and well articulated. I know it's not the case with Eddie Vedder because he's a wonderful and intelligent person but bland generalizations like "George Bush find another home" just reek on mainstream Bush bashing artists that are uninformed and just riding the band wagon for popularity. This one kind of falls flat for me but I still have all kinds of respect for Eddie Vedder.

  • personally "george bush find another home"

    made me laugh so hard.

this is one of the reasons i repect eddie,

i dont think hes riding any kind of bandwagons, just his own vehicle of perception.

  • the next day bp amaco lost so much money in chicago vedder can change the world

  • Vote OBAMA for president!!!!!!

  • Eddie, you're BIG!!! :)

"George Bush leave this world alone!!... George Bush find yourself another home" :D

  • Eddie, you're BIG!!! :)

"George Bush leve this world alone!!... George Bush find yourself another home" :D

    just AWESOME!!!!

  • Eddie, you're BIG!!! :)

"George Bush leve this world alone!!... George Bush find yourself another home" :D

    just AWESOME!!!!

  • That night was incredible. I agree with you zzero 91, Ed Ved had his own personal army that night. We would've invaded fuckin' Minnesota if he told us to. Remember folks, don't go BP/Amoco.

  • havent been since

  • george bush leave this world alone fantastic i wish i was there.but im too far

  • oooh man i was there. from toronto to chi town just to see pearl jam!!! cool beans. best $225 ever spent. the entire crowd was SCREAMING "george bush leave this world alone" ....if he told the crowd to scream "KILL THE PERSON NEXT TO YOU" i think everyone would have listened. VEDDER FOR PREZ!!

  • i love u eddie vedder.. GENIUS...

George Bush leve this world alone, brillient!

  • eddie ... es lo mas..

  • I was at this show and i have to say, it's really cool how vedder is getting back into things. he became a real recluse and for good reasons, but seeing him was like a healing process for me. But I could tell music is his healing process as well, it was great. Thanks for posting this :)

  • this is my favorite live version of daughter, second being the one where they start singing 'its ok' during the outro

    anyone seen that one?

  • yeah they did that in mexico city

  • yeah, ive seen pearl jam twice, one of the times being Lolla '07, and havent gotten the "It's Ok" outro, but i own the PJ Touring Band 2000 DVD, and i believe its on there. its pretty amazing

Una verdadera vergüenza lo q ocurrio ese dia.
